Is it just me, or does TT soundwave's waist and down look funky? I like the way acoustic wave's lower body was designed more.

    Oh wow.

Is it wrong that I'm maybe a slight bit more excited just for Laserbeak?

    Nope.

I think I actually like the way the third party Soundwave looks a bit more. But TT Laserbeak is amazing.

Yeah, seeing what they did for Laserbeak, I KNOW they could do an amazing job for Ravage and Rumble molds. The face and feet bothered me on Ravage. I'm hoping all those get made... and as accurately as this bird! Wow.

Hoping that the odd, way-off-base Rumble car (with a giant face on his chest) from Prime, and weird, round cassettes from FOC, and tank Rumble... are all indicative that they didn't want to do anything too similar to G1 because they have some awesome masterpiece cassettes in production.

fantastic. NEVER had any doubts as to how excellent an MP soundwave with the obligatory cassette tape would be. I can do without the the lambo brothers...but MP soundwave is a must

absolutely perfect. i will definitely not be waiting to see if hasbro decides to bring it over.. i LOVE it.

laserbeak is absolutely perfect. i can't even imagine what a masterpiece ravage and frenzy/rumble would look like. i mean.. hell, laserbeaks weapons are part of the figure.. that's AWESOME.

i cannot wait. i bet he'll look gorgeous colored.. this is one of the only times that i'm hoping that some of the detail is "lost in the color".. that way he'll literally look like he walked right out of my television.

i'm still holding out hope that hasbro will being red alert and sideswipe over. .. if we don't hear anything by sdcc.. i'll have to preorder the takara versions.

Do we KNOW that LB's weapons are part of the figure, and not separate pieces? I just don't see how it's possible, considering how much place the wings alone take in cassette mode (granted we only see one side of it in that mode)
if the weapons are part of it they're really perfecting their engineering. Mass shifting without actual mass shifting.

Yes, they are. If you look closely at the tape mode pics you can see how the back of the engines form - the little fin tips and the back chunk are there.

Im most impressed with Laserbeak. Thats pretty fantastic shit right there.
SW looks great, but I guess im not that blown away because that image of soundwave has been in my head since I was a kid.

Sideswipe..The countach is one of the sexiest cars ever made, Bot mode looks tight...but why do I look at that MP and just say....Meeeehhhhhh... If it gets a hasbro/TRU release Ill bite
