This custom was made from many different parts and figures. The chest, front thighs, feet, and shoulder detail were made from sheet styrene. Painted with Testors Acrylics and Enamels. Hope you guys like him.

    - Head is on a balljoint
    - Shoulders rotate and swing outward
    - Elbows bend and rotate
    - Articulated hands, rotate 360 degrees
    - Waist rotation
    - Balljointed Hips
    - Knees are double-jointed

I feel the label, "Masterpiece" is sometimes used inappropriately to describe some customs...

...but definitely not this one. Oh. My. God.

I love it!!!! but..... sorry 2 say this but the styrene chest/thighs look extremely rough :(
it looks rushed, don't get me wrong... but instead of 8/10 why not aim higher? ;)  GJ!

^ I agree. Overall the idea and the paint work are really good, but I'd recommend getting some Tamiya putty to fill the styrene seams so that it's a little tidier.

OMG! I love the decepticon targetmasters, and this guy is gorgeous! Any chance you can tell us at least some of the bits you used? Just curious to see if I can recognize them...
Please say you'll be doing other targetmasters! (I want to see MISFIRE, dammit!)
    Wow. Just wow.

    Always cool!

One thing I don't like is the thighs. I know it's a small nitpick, but it looks really rough and very much like styrene (rough edges, the black line on the front looks really roughly hewn rather than being a panel line). It's good (much better than what I can do), but the rest of it is so amazing that the mediocre-ness there stands out a lot.

That said, can I have it? :D

And Caliburst looks awesome. I'm surprised he connects using the hole on the arm and not to Slugslinger's hand, but it works a lot better than i though it would. Hasbro's PCC Caliburst doesn't even deserve to bear the same name as this guy!

    Overall, awesome! :thumb

EDIT: I should specify, the left thigh in the first pic is the most off-putting. Just feels like it was rushed or something. Rest of it looks....like it should be sent to me actually... :lol

I love the overall size of him! The styrene work doesn't bother me as much, the thing that bugs me is that I think there are loads of details that could of been painted. Great build overall!!

thanks for the critique man. personally I don't think it looks "extremely rough" lol if i thought so, I wouldn't have posted it. I don't have much experience with styrene work, so I'm happy with how it turned out. It definately could be better.

thanks for the tip man, I'll definately try and get some putty filler.

thanks man. The upper arms are from vector prime and the shoulder caps are G1 prime feet. The head is a modified G1 devastator head, the lower legs are from movie ratchet. I plan on making a few more targetmasters, and misfire is definately the next one on the list.

thanks for the feedback man, always appreciated. I learned a few things with this build for sure. I'm happy with how he turned out and the chest, thighs, and feet turned out better than I thought they would. Definately not perfect.

    thanks fellas

Awesome! Fill in the gaps and you'll take this winner even higher!

He's one of a favs in name and in design, and he looks almost ALIVE with the way you modeled and painted him.
