Anyone who has him--does he show signs of the stress marks around the wing hinges? I know the mod/fix to help with that, but I'm wondering if they might have made it a bit more loose and less fragile.

Can't really say so far, though it does fit together better in jet mode than my MP Starscream did (the 'spine' on that was a little misaligned/too tight, so tended to not sit flush.)

I found about 17 total at two different stores in CT today. He's excellent, and on par with the Takara one.

TakaraTomy made one released in November of 2008. There isn't one by Hasbro... yet. I tend to think they'll probably do him in a couple years, but nothing has been announced.

I think that Masterpiece Skywarp is not as sturdy as the masterpiece Starscream. Starscream seem much better although I only got a chance to see it in a box rather instead of out of box. Is this true?

They're about the same, I'd say Skywarp is a little more sturdy. The only one I didn't think was sturdy was the original Japanese Green Starscream.

Found and bought in Ft.Wayne IN.
Seems to me every bit as good as Hasbro Starscream. My only complaint is that he has same faces as SS.

I'm returning mine because the stupid thing's torso is always sliding out of place. And at $60 plus tax, there's no room for faulty construction.

Ah,well. Maybe Grimlock will finally prove to be a decent Masterpiece figure.

I broke down and bought it online. I'm afraid it's never going to get here.

I'm in Clarksville, TN for a few weeks and they've got crap loads of them here at Wal-Mart. I just don't think he's worth it to be honest. If it was Thundercracker or Grimlock, I'd actually consider it. But $60 for anything made out of plastic is ridiculous.

I agree. When I was inspecting mine yesterday, it did seem that paying $60 for it was a little too much. If there is going to be a MP Thundercracker, I hope the price will not increase.
