    Disclaimer: This might be confusing..

It seems to me that MP 10 Optimus is in scale with MP 11 and the upcoming MP's 12- 14. However MP 09 is almost a bridge between the original MP scale and the newer MP's. MP 09 Rodimus mode is in scale to MP 10 Optimus while MP 09 Hotrod mode is closer in scale to MP01 and MP 05 Megatron. Meanwhile Grimlock is not in scale to either. If Takara made a 12" Grimlock it could potentially scale well to MP reboot sizes.

So long story short you want TT to release a MP Grimlock to the new MP scale.

Meh the current MP Grimmy Works well enough for me.

Considering Grimlock and Rodimus have already been reduced in size to the original MPs out there. why would they go back and redo Grim and Roddy in favor of new characters?

There's nothing wrong with them Scale-wise.

Megs is the only MP left that needs his size reduced due to some retooling.

Actually Grimmy is too short for the new MP scaling, but, like I said he's close enough for me.

    Scale will never get fixed.

I hope someday folks will just accept it and move on. :/

Yeah, MP-08 is still shorter than MP-10, which bugs me to no end.

Well, I would like a giant Grimlock, but that's not really my point. For example, I think it would have been nice if Hotrod was in scale to the other Autobot cars like Sideswipe.
It makes a difference to me for display purposes. MP 01 goes with MP Hotrod while MP 10 goes with 11 and on. In a pinch, I find that MP Grimlock looks pretty good with my G1's.

So long as they keep with the new scale and don't pull any Classics-logic repaints/remolds, I'm fine with whatever character they put out.

Though I'd prefer a Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime as separate MPs so they don't take anything away from each other(quality, detail, scale, etc)

I'd be ecstatic if that happened. Throw in the rest of the G1 Dinobots in scale and it would be completely perfect IMO.

Scale will never be fixed in any Transformers toyline.
But I find me way around it.
MP Grimlock is displayed with my classics,
And MP Optimus (MP-01), Rodimus Prime, and Megatron get displayed with my Alternators and Beast Wars figures.

Hot Rod may be in scale with MP-1, but Rodimus Prime is in scale with MP-10...

You can't get it perfect. One side (bot/alt) will always sacrifice for the other.

MP Rodimus scales perfect, sure Hotrod mode doesn't scale properly but first and foremost MP09 is Rodimus Prime! Not Hotrod! anyway he spent 90% of the time as Rodimus Prime in the cartoon, leave him be.

However I do agree about hopefully seeing a bigger Grimlock in the future, we are all but guaranteed a new Megatron and Ultra Magnus to fit in with this new "scale" in the next couple of years, moving forward that would leave Grimlock being the only chracter not really fitting in.

Kinda sux thay just didn't make him bigger in the first place because the mold is perfect.

I'm pleased with the new scale, as long as the vehicle modes look good together I don't care how big the bot mode is relative to other bots.

Really hope we get a Galvatron before we get a megs though, Space cannons are one thing, but I can't justify buying a figure that turns into a gun bigger than a car (though admittedly I'm willing to buy Soundwave)

Eh, as long as the robot sizes are relatively matched with each other, I'm fine. If I really wanted to be a scale junkie (like I am with Alts/BTs, which is an actual scaled line), I'd be going by the vehicle modes. As such, it's just like G1 - I'm fine for the most part.

As long as they don't stray to far away from where there at now, the scale thing for me will be fine. At least there taking notice, an are doing the best they can.

I hate the new MP scale and won't be buying any of the vehicles. I did preorder Soundwave and the cassettes but I see them being my final MP purchase as things stand now.
