Hey all, I was born a little too late for G1, so I grew up with the weird european late-G1 stuff and the G2 toys. I know a lot of people don't care for the wild colour schemes they had, but I'm really fond of them. I collect MP-scale TFs these days, and I'd really like a couple of brightly coloured ones for my collection.

I was hoping their role in the IDW comics would have brought more attention to skyquake & stalker, or the brightly coloured G1 guys like Spinister and Misfire, but there don't seem to be any MP offerings at the moment.

I know about the G2 ocular max sphinx that just came out (i missed out on it), but it's really hard to keep track of all the other recolours and manufacturers there are for 3rd party stuff. If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

G2 Sphinx is still available at ShowZ, for only a bit more than his convention price:

Mastermind Creations PS-01R Sphinx Regenesis 2019 TFCon Exclusive

As for other G2 MPs, this post has good pictures of a few of them, including MakeToys Jazz, the FansToys Dinobots, FanHobby Laser Optimus, and the official Takara Sideswipe and Bumblebee, all in G2 flavour:

    MakeToys MTRM-09GII Maestro (G2 Jazz)

ToyWorld put out their Devastator in yellow G2 colours, and there's also the new Planet X G2 Grimlock (from the same convention as G2 Sphinx). I'm sure there are many others I'm forgetting!

I'm just waiting for someone, anyone, to make a G2 Ramjet. Love that glorious purple and teal colour scheme!

Fanstoys have released their Grimlock, Slag, and Snarl in G2 colors. These can be a bit hard to track down these days, sadly.

And let's not forget that there are two official G2 MPs - Bumblebee and Sideswipe. The latter also has a nice kit by Dr. Wu to give him his bandoliers and bazooka.

As people have mentioned, XTB has some G2 Stunticons:

They also have the mini-bots in G2 colors like Beachcomber, seen here with Maketoys G2 Starscream and the official G2 Sideswipe:

thanks for all the help guys, those stunticons and seaspray/beachcomber look especially nice. I wonder if fanstoys will ever do G2 repaints of their stunticons, although G2 colours might be a good excuse to get in on a second set of stunticons from a different company.

Didn't see anyone mention Maketoys G2 Inferno. Though it's not much different from the G1.

You can probably add in some MP repaints also. Some are Diaclone inspired, but Could serve as G2 versions. Like MP Delta Magnus, Loudpedal, Tigertracks, Road Rage, and Cordon.

Funnily enough I was just posting elsewhere to say I've only now written a review of Ocular Max G2 Sphinx - the link is in my sig below.

In terms of other MP G2 figures, there are quite a few now! Happy to help with identifying any of them.

*off topic* I just checked out their shipping, and even after that's caculated - and given the Black Friday sale - they are still cheaper than any US based etailer (at least for the two things I looked at - Feilong and Nucleon Quest Convoy).
