Isn't Predaking around 11 inches tall? Wouldn't that make Rodimus closer to Prime/Megs?

And doubly sucks that he won't be out until after Xmas.

Was hoping I would get him by Christmas.....

I can't wait. I won't spend that much on a figure very often anymore, but I've come to love Hot Rod/Rodimus, and I can't wait to get this. It's definitely one of my most eagerly awaited TFs.

I hope he gets a US release, cause I just don't see that figure being worth nearly $200.00

Yeah, Predaking is 11. Prime/Megatron 12. And Grimlock is 9. The seekers - I don't have one cause I can't stand the samurai looks.
So, if Roddy is at Predaking height, I'm happy.

My suspicion is that after Prime, they realized a bit smaller was better- but couldn't very well make a megatron that wasn't the same size as Prime.

Time will tell. If Rodimus is SS/Grimlock sized, there's a very good chance all future new molds will be similarly sized.

Rodimus should be the size of prime and megatron, no if ands or buts, leaders should be the same size

everyone keeps waiting on hasbro. Im not so sure I see them releasing one. and I say that because of their history. We never Saw MP-04 because of his sheer size and price, and lets face it, MP Rodiumus at near $200 is most certainly an adult collectible figure. Not a toy, the way Hasbro markets their figures.

I've heard quite a few people say maybe without a trailer to cut the price, I don't see that happening either. Lets face it, having 4 modes would make him an odd mold for US buyers if there's no trailer to go along with the rodimus alt mode.

My MP Skywarp is just slightly shorter than Grimlock. Maybe only about a half an inch. He doesn't look anything like a samurai though.

Takara's MP Grimlock did go for about $150 US. Hasbro's is going for slightly more than half of that. I wouldn't rule out a US MP Rodimus based off Price alone.

    That said, I'm not waiting.

More sad about the 2011 release than the price. Rodimus would have perfect for 2010.

I'm indifferent to the price solely because Rodimus is my favorite character and I must have any figure of his. The only way the price would turn me away was if he tag read something like $300-500.

um, wouldn't it just be robot and car mode, the 4 modes mean nothing if it has no trailer, only weird thing would be spinning face gimmick

hasbro has said no more trailers, it ain't cost effective.....so far they haven't broken that rule......i don't see them releasing the trailer for rodimus over here, seeing as not even MP prime got his trailer released over here in america

I suspect if Roddy does see a US/UK release, he may be re-tooled to have only a Hot Rod mode, perhaps with a more flash colour scheme. In that case, i'd be buying both releases.
