Hey guys, I need some help. I just got masterpiece Megatron and transformed him for the first (and last) time. I just have a question because both my triggers have the same issue. The part where the trigger connects to the body (near the spring, attached via a screw) is the circle that is around the screw, it is supposed to be whole? I mean, is the trigger attached to the screw with a complete piece of plastic or is it not a complete loop? This figure has never been transformers before me and I hadn’t even touched that that part yet. I have a feeling I am going to have to buy some parts Thanks -Miek
Sorry that I can't really help, 'cause I'm at work and Megs is at home. I've had MP Megatron since he came out and I still haven't transformed him... he scares me. You're braver than I.
I've tried to transform my MP Megatron and I can't get his legs to go in the up and locked position to form the gun's handle. My MP Megatron just stays in robot mode as my G1 Megatron stays in gun mode. I transform G1 Meg's a lot more often then I touch Masterpiece Megatron. MPM is just best left in robot mode as he is too big to be realistic in gun mode.
Scariest figure to transform. Broke the tiny little tabs. Then broke a piece inside the torso. Next scariest figure is attaching the legs to the city commander.
I transformed the first one and bought a second one to display in robot mode. I don't plan on ever transforming either one from this point on.
You guys make him sound impossible. I TF'd him for the first time last week. To gun then back to Robot. If you follow the instructions he's not that hard at all. Complex but not hard. Just a more complicated version of G1. OP, Pics of your issue would help tons. -G
Sorry for the lack of pics guys (and the clearly awful description, I was at work and thought I could TRY and explain) but that is the one. Where the screw is... and I can see they are full circles. Which of course means, mine is broken. Guess I have a new peice I need to track down.... shit. I don't think this will be easy
One one hand, the market isn't exactly loaded down with MP junkers & parts, so it won't be easy, but on the other hand if there is one MP that everyone breaks, its definitely MP Megs, so you might end up getting lucky and finding a nice board member.
As an aside, people keep throwing "QC problems" around as the catch-all phrase to describe whenever something goes wrong with their particular figure. And in response, I say "I do not think this phrase means what you think it means".
