3 MP grimlocks spotted and bought in TRU in Vancouver BC. One of my buddies got one and the other 2 to his friends.

So it's out in the Philippines and Canada now, but not the US just yet. That's great news! I'm really happy for the collectors in Canada and the Philippines because they're able to enjoy this great figure already. Not to worry, US collectors; the fine people at TRU are working very hard to ensure this great piece will be available for everyone who wants one in the not too distant future.

 

^ Yup. MP Grimlock is never getting a U.S. release.

 

Thats what I heard, the US gets everything else first and tonnes of exclusives that no one else gets so MP Grimlock is not going to be released there. Hasbro stated this in a recent news release worldwide (other than the US of course). I'd post it here for our US friends but it wont show up if you're in the US anyway, so there's no point.

this comment, in a way, makes a lot of sense, and in a way, does not make any sense. They would deprive a potentially good market (I mean I know Americans buy a lot of Transformers) just for the sake of "fairness", that would be a ridicious decision from them, imo.

 

Aww, but I was trying to see how many people would believe my post. It's April 1st isnt it?  

Anyway, keep hope my friends. If it's being released here (apparently in English only, ie US packaging), then it cant be very far from Nation-wide stores as well as the US.

actually, my "rage" can't be considered fan; I wasn't going for Grimmy. I don't collect masterpiece; I just thought one of the post didn't sound logical enough to be true, but it didn't occur to me as a joke because it also wasn't silly enough.

 

I'm pretty sure I'm the one he's referring to with "fan rage" because I said the eff word. If you only could've seen me over here while I posted that. I was breaking things and shouting at the top of my lungs. I was close to smashing the light box I use for my toy photo shoots, but thank heavens that I didn't.
