Bear in mind there's plenty of phone camera lens distortion in that one pic you keep using. His right foot isn't as big as his whole torso! Also, his arms are bent quite a bit in that pic too, making them look shorter, but yeah they are a tiny bit short like Bee's, but not glaringly so. In better pics we've seen of the older test shots he's almost spot on to the toon proportions.

Also, I dont know how your eyes and brain must be wired up to think the head sculpt 'barely resembles' the toon model??? I mean... wha? Tell me how - I want to understand!  

Your digibash - nah not feeling it sorry. Your thighs for example - you made them so stumpy they are almost square! Look at the toon model you put next to it - the thighs are... well, exactly the same proportions as the TT figure. How can you think your square stumpy thighs look more accurate???

Only flaw I can spot is that gray piece attached to the spoiler needs to be red. Other than that, he's astoundingly perfect.

They do not. A few have had some breakages. You're making is sound like every release has some guaranteed fatal flaw that complety ruins the figure. For every figure with a breakage, I can give you 4 or 5 more, in the same rough release time that are fine. You're making accusations based on hyperbole.

Well, for one thing, now you're changing your numbers. Is it $100 or $150? But also, Skids, Reboost, and Crosscut all well under $100. I think I paid just under $100 for BB, and just over $100 for Sunstreaker, Hound, Arcee, Cordon, etc. Which are all still under your original $150 quote.

You do understand this is not trying to look like a previous toy, right? It's the first time we're getting an actual Sunbow Cliffjumper. Any previous figures (all of which, 1 weren't CJ from the beginning?) have no bearing on this figures look or proportions.

No, it's really not. The breakages are not near as widespread as some would like you to believe. Furthermore, they were incredibly short lived. Seemed like some people who got the very first batch from Japan had the issue. Every replacement reported fine. After about a week or two, if even that long, reports stopped.

It was a misassembly at the factory, and not something that happened over time, nor something you have to worry about happening, if yours came fine.

 

in all honesty, I LOVE how this looks, it looks great! it's easily recognizable as the character, and I love that we finally got a cliff that turns into his proper squishmobile design. I just think that going for cartoon accuracy, they didn't do the best at that... but at making a masterpiece cliffjumper that's loyal to nearly every source material? hell yeeeeeaaaahhh

what I meant was, I think the figure's looking great! I just think that there are some proportional issues that could've been fixed, but it's most likely a mistransformation.
