YES no Burst Rifle nerf- I mean, these are good changes!
Im not very happy with the charge rifle nerf but I don't mind everything else
I can't believe the scrapmaker got nerfed. You have got to be kidding me
The Path Blaster with the Magma Dampener was pretty powerful. I used that combo a lot with my Infiltrator. Kinda sad to see it nerved, but it is pretty necessary.
Wait, their doubling the nucleon charge rifles charge speed? It's weak enough as it is...charging it is the only effective way of using it. This game seriously isn't as good as people make it out to be, Highmoon need to learn to balance things properly. Like that fucking barrier.
Defo selling my copy in October...
I am throwing a party.
I actually went back to WFC today and wow, MP is a lot better. HMS is trying too hard on FOC or something.
i tried that the other day but with campaign and kept pressing LB to sprint
It's just Titan is my best class and all haha
Scientist is my favorite, it only got buffs.
lol I did that a few times
Speaking of MP, it's stopped working altogether for me...
The only gear shredder buff mentioned is homing, but I swear it's doing more damage. I've been getting one hit kills with it all day. And I know it's not just because I'm hitting people who're already damaged, cause they're doing it to me on full health too.
Jetscream: I just wonder when we're gonna actually start learning how to beat guns rather than whine and complain and hope a gun gets nerfed. When does it stop, when we just cry for nerfs just because a gun kills us.
I don't die to Scrapmakers unless they catch me unawares or I make a mistake. Even as an Infiltrator I was beating Scrapmakers pre-nerf. Why can't we just learn to get that good instead of crying for nerfs? That's just what I absolutely hate about players. That the devs **MUST** cater to their needs instead of them stepping up to the plate and getting better...
Uh, it was mostly a joke. Only a few times I've said I hope it gets a nerf, and then the rest was people just complaining about me mentioning it. I don't really care if it's nerfed or not, and I don't really consider accuracy a nerf unless the gun fires backwards.
It's just indicative of the attitude I find on the board, and it kinda sucks. I really, really hope High Moon is listening to players who actually know how to assess game balance(experienced shooter players, for instance) and listening to them. I hope that these changes are based on feedback from those players primarily.
If not, then we're going to run into the problem where High Moon is listening to bad feedback. They should **NOT** listen to the kind of feedback that says "I get killed by this weapon, therefore it needs to be nerfed." That's problematic for ALL players and it does not address the REAL problem, which is mostly that players aren't learning the skills needed and are crying for nerfs rather than trying to get good and actually using those skills to assess game balance.
Does the gear shredder NEED more homing? That thing was clearing rooms of titans and leaders left and right... all from the safety of cover. In the cases where there are survivors, the defending inhabitants of bases in CTF look like they transform into Cybertronian, multi-bladed table saws, and are easy fodder for whoever decides to play cleanup.
Agreed. Listening to bad feedback makes a bad game.
More homing to the Gear Shredder makes me very happy.
It didn't need more homing though...
The game was nearly perfect as it was. I think I just wanted a slight buff on the Techvolt because I couldn't even kill an Infiltrator with it without having to reload. But then again, I didn't use it much.
All I wanted was for the Sentries to get a slight nerf because it's basically the Scientist being in two places at once especially when you give it the damage buff. It's an excuse to have less Scientists be useful - as in heal people.
I guess I'm used to the Path Blaster now but I still would like either a boost in damage or a smaller reticule to "balance" it out.
