IF that's the case, hopefully it deters scalpers from snagging them all. Wishful thinking, but I hope so. MP10 was a nightmare for me to get, now TC is warming shelves (as of a few months ago in San Diego).

I just spoke with a representative and even directed him to this message board. He says there is still time for changes before production starts and my suggestions would be passed along.

I also suggested better distribution and for Sideswipe and Red Alert to be released as well.

The more people that contact them with polite suggestions, the more differences we can make.

Here's to hoping for a red eyes on Soundwave!

 

It is nice that they showed off all the articulation in the images of frenzy and rumble.

Also strange that they didn't clean up the figure between handling it, first pic has a nice fingerprint on Soundwave's rewind button in bot mode. Not being nitpicky, just seems a little weak if these are professional pictures.

Agreed. Fraction of cost as takara, getting it all in one-shot, i'll take the yellow visor happily.

This will be a hot one no doubt. I bet all the TRU stock people are ready to make some cases "fall off the truck."

As always, there will be a mad rush. But, like Thundercracker, he eventually became readily available. I hope the same will be the case here, and we won't have a fiasco on our hands.

Soundwave and the tapes look great! Happy for all those that will be lucky enough to find them. (already have Takara SW and the tapes soon).

Acidstorm looks good and bad to me. The bright green doesnt really do anything for me but the rest of it looks cool. Probably still pass on him though. I already have the 3 MP03 seekers plus Greenscream and MP11S, dont really need any more of this mold/remold.

 

As petty of me as it is, I just cannot stand that yellow visor and lighter blue use on soundwave. Actually, the colors used on that set in general just look off. Frenzy's red is strange as well. Glad I got the japanese editions.

Still, for those who can't afford to blow the extra cash on the Japanese one or prefer the Hasbro colors, cool for you. Good luck getting him. Hope he's plentiful at retail so everyone gets a chance to grab that great mold.

Acid Storm, on the other hand, I super dig. love the camo they used. He looks super cool. Not sure I can justify spending big bucks on a new MP figure of that character, but I might. Really interesting figure.

 

acid strom looks wicked but running out of room i need to get pickey so 1 use of each mp mold, as for soundwave well same reason as above i like red eyes more and with what i have been hearing about lazerbeaks weapons snaping on hinges ravages main bar snaping and the slider bit on the rumble and frenzy mold snaping i dont see a huge want for the casset tape in my collection plus i have the g1 versons and the FOC versons plus the classics and altanator versons lol

 

But I like Soundwave with yellow eyes! That's what the G1 toy had, and it was one of the changes I was hoping for the US release.
