I've always said back then that Hasbruh could've just swapped out the few diecast bits of MP24 with heavy plastic (it was largely just those jet thrusters in the V-Star, wasn't it?), and released it as a Leader class figure.:confused2

Man, I hope we can at least get a silhouette of God Ginrai soon so at minimum.we can see that the proportions are right. (And that the wings are actually on the back, lol.)

I think the Takara one had those metal parts in the 80s.

Definately 100% plastic, apart from screws and hinges and stickers.
My middle child has recently broken mine by smashing Ginrai into the wall and snapping the smokestacks off, also in the last couple of weeks, one of the legs thighs has gone soft and (almost, 80% of the way) snapped off at the thigh. Time to get MPG 09 I think!

No way I had a Takara one when I was a kid, i would have remebered the Japanese writing, this was the US version. As I'm trying to remeber more, I believe parts were starting to tarnish at the edges so I'm pretty sure it was metal.

Ehhhh...not really. Even back when leaders were nicely large, MP Star Saber was a lot larger than that. Plus, you have an inner robot AND a Brainmaster. CW Ultra Magnus only came with Minimus and no real inner robot at leader class...and Super Ginrai was just a retool of that, even.

No I 100% meant Sudoku. The lion's share of offenses on the Internet involving a Japanese company or individuals are appropriately punished with number puzzles. Likewise I'd much rather have that on a TFW shirt than ritual disembowlment. Granted the truly dedicated can perform both...

It's possible, but I know mine was all plastic. I know the cab doors on mine also didn't open. Someone will solve this mystery though.

The Sudoku substitution is an internet joke that's been around FOREVER. It legitimately surprises me to find anyone as terminally online as a fairly prominent TFWer to have never seen it before.

    Nope. New to me.

Keep in mind I really only visit Facebook, some national new sites and here. I'm not strolling through Reddit and other websites on a regular, or even semi regular, basis.

Mine didn't either, it's just a solid chunk of a cab with shitty sticker windows and a tertibly painted grill .
