So many notifications.... It triggers me.

Edit: I apparently was going to order one. Then it said sold out. Went to look and apparently I hit the place order rather than check price. Whoops. Now I have a cheap Hoist on his way (hopefully) and for less than what I could probably get from a US shop on sale including shipping from Japan.

Probably not, but definitely worth a try! You might get lucky and get the difference added back to your account in the form of points or something.

I have to say I really love this figure. I would have liked better colour matching between the yellow/orange plastics, but overall it looks great.

Grapple is more than worth it. He also brings serious orange presence to your shelf.

My Hoist from ShowZ, showed up on Monday. I haven't had that much time to mess around and play with it, but I managed to transform him, and try a couple of poses. The transformation process went smoothly with just a head scratching moment while dealing with the arms. Those small pieces that unfold, and form the top of the arms were kind of stuck, but after a couple of attempts they finally tabbed in.

Overall I like him, the cartoon look is spot on, but like Trailbreaker I'm not a fan of how hollow he looks on the sides of his chest. I could have just waited for a FT to come up at a decent price, but choices had to be made, it's not a a character that I praise that much, and IMO There's "flaws" on both options.
FT cleans way better from the sides, not so toon looking, but I hate the chrome on his legs.

Here's some quick photos I took in bot mode.

    He sure does!

Him and Inferno might be older models, but they do stand the test of time. They are still favourites on my collection, and dare to say that I'll never let them go for another version, even if the newer ones end up looking more cartoon accurate.

My only gripe is that the unpainted green plastic doesn't match the painted plastic. Yes, its a nitpick :)
I've had 3 Hoists (MMC, XTB, now TT), and this is closest to what I want. XTB had some strong points (awesome headsculpt), but lacked the posability I wanted. This guy's got me covered :)
Also, not that anybody cares, I've missed taking pictures.

Yes, it’s real. Mr. Moist settled down in Tyrol in the heart of the Austrian Alps after his illustrious acting career … :)  Sometimes you see deer grazing on that grass hill.

Told him not to build any Con-attracting towers though which is prob. why he claimed the Decepticat’s one in the shot above

Haha brilliant :p  Salzburg is only 1h away. Fun fact: Hardly any Austrian knows the movie

Back on topic: How did you guys find the transformation? I thought mo(i)st of it to be quite straightforward, but struggled with the shoulders as well as the doors/middle section. Bit anxious to break sth. like the little hinges at the doors. Usually don’t have that feeling but damn these transformations sure are not getting easier/less fiddly.

My Masterpiece moment was untucking the hands/arms from inside the feet/legs   Quite the engineering … TT just knock it out of the park with their latest MPs … but bit silent on the announcing front lateley   COME ON TAKARA

Yeah, shoulders were also my biggest challenge with this guy, but the overall process is quite straight forward and intuitive. A couple of days after the first transformation, I've gave it a try converting him to Truck mode, and back to bot mode without help of the instructions (or videos) and I was pretty much successful.

I haven't bought an MP since maybe since Sunstreaker? I went ahead and got Hoist though since none of the 3P ones seemed quite right in appearance. When it showed up and I got it transformed and it looks just how I wanted, however....

Are all the newer MP's this light and hollow feeling? I know his chest is hollow but it feels in hand sorta like a cheap figure (and I don't mean the price). As I said, I have a bunch up to Sunstreaker and they all had this quality feel to them. Hoist just feels like it's...not. No ratchets, thin plastic feeling. It was honestly a lil of a disappointment. He looks great on the shelf but I didn't know if all the MP's had shifted to this style of manufacturing or if it's just this guy. :(
