Yay!!! After talking with Fedex yesterday and today, they found my missing package from TCP. Was supposed to have Skyfire, TFCon Bossman, & the dna kit for legacy Menasor this past Tuesday. Never got an update after the 18th. New delivery date is this Friday. Love how on the app it now says arriving on time. Yeah, ok fedex.

Never put them in. And yup, getting those 2 parts together at the bottom part is 1st hurdle. The 2nd is how to push them up. You will feel the center support hit a metal bar inside. That when you know you hit the sweet spot.

Transformation to bot was a bit tedious, granted I went off that show z above video for reference. The backpack is a trip, besides having to force the bottom part of it together and getting a loud snap frim it locking in,I found the white piece that folds down behind the head into the backpack and the tail like piece that folds into the backpack from the top blue canopy where what was bumping into each other making the blue canopy piece not tab in flush and kept popping out. After messing with it a bit I got it all flush and tabbed in.
The problem I'm having is tabbing in the chest/shoulder side pieces into his ribs. Can't get them to line up and tab. Idk what I'm doing wrong.

It is funny as which respecting fan ever uses the manual?;)
Trouble is, who can read it?o_O
TTs videos helped me get to the right direction but the part on the back was too fast and should have focused more on getting the backpack halves flushed together and how far you push them up.
In my version, it was getting the lower boosters together to lock after pushing up was the biggie.

It’s really only a matter of aligning them just right and applying force in the right direction. If you unhinge everything it can make it easier to see where the tab and slot are. I found on mine that the natural resting position of the pieces didn’t allow them to tab in properly even when it felt like they should, but moving them around slightly for 3 hours would finally get them in.

Then one of them would pop out again whenever I moved the arm too much and I would start all over again. Fun times.

I had no idea the backpack was so tedious! I got mine together in a few minutes with no issue. My issue has been the damn arms. They don’t stay locked. They soft-clip in, but it’s not enough pressure to hold them, so it’s basically a butterfly joint. By no means a deal breaker, but it’s frustrating, as the tab looks like it was meant to pressure-hold the arm in place. Still, he’s the best figure by Takara in quite some time. Pretty good design, fun transformation, and intuitive. I’ve only watched the Takara video once, and remembered enough to figure out the whole transformation pretty easily.

You'd think back in 2003/2004, Takara would have assigned an editor to do the spell checking for the English fonts:D  though on hindsight, when I type my requisition invoice vouchers for supply requests, I already thought I got the spelling right and still ends up garbled:confused:

I have multiple issues with tab alignment on my copy which are not due to mistransforming. None of these affect the overall look or transformation. BUT, the ankles on mine will not stay in place when clicked inward. If I want a wide stance the ankles will only stay in the aligned position. If I position them at an angle the ratchet/joint just pops back to the default position. I can fold the heel down and the joint will click easier, but if I barely touch it it's back to the original position. Standing him on angled ankles causes them to immediatly snap back into place.

The one major fitment issue on my copy is the nose cone which barely fits between the chest pieces. The tab snaps in, but it takes a lot of force to get the nose between the chest, it is just too wide compared to the chest recess. So, there are QC issues with this guy.

welcome to my world of ankle pain lol. extend the foot out a tad and the inner click should stay in place better. my issue after that was getting the hip ratchets to cooperate in order for the feet to be planted with the inner foot pivot lol

I will try that, thanks. Do you mean pull the foot down away from the leg?
