They re only allowing the Skyfire episode to air for a few days, I wonder also if our next MP announcement happened to show up in that episode, where Jazz and CJ certain characters make an appearance. Soundwave shows up too doing something with his arm . Maybe they're killing 2 birds with one stone.

 

Yeah, WFC does a better job with the scale. 44 looks too big next to 57.

 

Prime should normally come up to Skyfire's waist or his elbow depending on what source you're looking at. Or be that mini-figure size because, um, it's Transformers.

I like MP-57 with Prime coming up to Skyfire's elbow, but I wouldn't have been upset about a taller Skyfire (18"+/-) where Prime only appears about waist high. There is just so much variation that both fall within my expected limits of Jetfire.

Considering the source material isn't even consistent with scale (not to mention massive mass-shifting that regularly happens), I don't get the constant worry about scale. As long as relative scale is close enough, that's good enough for me.

 

JP or the English version episode, it was kind of sad that best buds(or maybe the only sincere buddy Starcream ever had) had such a falling out . If you recall, when Sf went down, Sc circled the globe many times before giving up. An out of character for Sc, he actually cared for someone, Sc caring for someone?  Then shooting him a few million years later over "insubordination". 

Of course to sell toys but what if Sf wasn't dug out by WJ and Ss a few episodes later (love that episode too, Fire in the Mountain), it would have been a tragic arc for the character.

 

All we can do is hope. Man oh man all these photos over the past few days have me drooling! Shame I probably won’t have him in hand until March.

 

I just watched these two episodes recently. They had a nice memorial for him at the end, but then they just dug him back and and was like “we need you, so you can’t stay buried.” Maybe I want paying enough attention as to why they left him initially. Kinda weird though

 

Cartoon logic, the Sky spy detected faint Cybertronian spark readings a few days/weeks/months after the incident during a fly bye in the Arctic circle .

I’m a huge Jetfire fan and fan of anything Macross or Robotech. The “GERWALK/Gaurdian” mode of this MP made him an easy buy for me!  

Also, I made this pic a while back, with the idea that every now and then, Skyfire and Starscream meet up in the mountains, far away from everyone and everything, and just shoot the shit about old times….


Can’t wait to make a similar pic when my MP Skyfire comes in.

Funny Takara is allowing/showing 1 episode, while Hasbro has the entire series on YouTube. As for possible hints to the next released character (kind of a stretch to believe this) only Gears, Jazz, Cliffjumper and Reflector aren’t yet produced.

Actually that’s the logic of the Japanese version, in the original US version it detected the energy drain cause/location. There was no mention of life at all. Why they changed it to the crazy life signature crap is beyond me.

 

I don't normally collect masterpiece series, but this one was a no regret purchase, after seeing these photos.

 

Mini-Jazz included with Mini-Prime and Mini-Wheeljack for MP Skyfire. Both Prime and Jack have MPs.
One of the main characters in ROTB is a Porsche.
I'd say chances are far better than they ever have been for MP Jazz.

 

This looks good in photos. Not sure i want to replace my FT-X version with it though...works out about £225 on Showz (minus points i have) which, as my collection nears completion and my space is filling up, is really difficult to justify (not selling the FT!!!).

Hopefully the QC is great and from the photos, i think this and\or the FT one will work well in most people's collections and be worth it.

Pretty good time to be a Jetfire \ Skyfire fan!!!
