That too! 3P/not TFs 99.9999% all China sourced. Aside from being low labor cost non IPR protected, the 3P/KOers know they have a profitable market locally.

That ship has sailed like since Inferno, Megatron, BW Megatron, Dinobot.............  I remember back when MP UM was the most expensive MP with the designer being told not to break the bank (MP-04 technically was the most expensive back then but is more of a wasted opportunity(da EF no Roller/Buggy  at that price range?). Oooooo my aching wallet  

 

Oh yeah, I know the TF brand isn’t actually all that in Japan. Takara’s been trying to increase market share over the years with lots of different ideas. Arms Micron, the real car MPs, the MPG Trainbots, etc. all different attempts to grab the attention of non-TF collectors in Japan, with varying results.

In my initial question I was really just trying to see if the troll would make any attempt to back up his nonsensical claim

Just to add, not dumping my Siege version as well as my henkei and Legends Skyfires! All are great testaments to the character's real time incarnation evolution (also have Micron Legends, another great homage  ).

It is kind of weird that I missed the Superlink version back then.

Looks class. The size of the damn thing! Looking at it compared to Magnus I'm not sure it will fit on my shelf! Just hope it's got a lovely coat of nice glossy white paint. I love paint.
