Any info about the next masterpiece ?, The Jazz minifigure could be a clue.

…but why? Why hide such an awesome yet subtle feature

 

He\'s just so... plain. So many giant plain panels. All the newer Takara MPs are like this, but on a toy this size it is even more glaring and distracting.

 

I think this is what people have in mind, since you dont need a face to put the visor on

Instead of empty under the blue you would see robot detials, which is an Easter egg I'm surprised they didn't do

I see, kind of like they did with MP-39 Megatron.
It is plain behind the faces on Skyfire.

 

This is great.
But the transformations are not interesting...

 

I'd still like to have those mini figures...

Anyone looking to get rid of theirs?  

 

looks amazing!! its figures like this that are making it easy for me to downsize and wait on takara for some figures!! was going to pretty much leave the hobby but can't I do love it , just about that self control now don't need to catch them all!!

 

I hope so. An official MP Omega would be one of my holy grails. As much as I like my Seige version, it’s no MP, not even close. And even though they are very tempting, I don’t buy 3P.

 

Oof, that head is a bit rough - looks like he's wearing a bonnet!

Have it pre-ordered but thinking again now. Vehicle mode and those mini figs would make a nice display, so might still bite.

I continue to find it astonishing how trash this thing looks. The alt mode is so featureless it practically looks like papercraft and standing next to the Siege mold (which I like but don’t love) really emphasizes how absurd his proportions and lack of detailing is (which the overall size seems to further enhance)

The oversized head and low shoulders (they’re coming out of where his armpits should be!!!) in particularly just totally ruin him for me.

Very nice articulation and the mini-figures are cool I suppose, otherwise, sad to see something so disappointing for the masterpiece of my second favorite character.

Even for folks who likes the Sunbow stylings of the current line, I have a hard time understanding being impressed by how just utterly bland he looks. (Doubly so at the price)

 

Clearly, people don't know what they want. It looks exactly like the cartoon, but, for some reason, that's a problem. If they went the other way, you'd have the majority hating it for not being cartoon accurate.

99.9% of people don't have the figure in hand yet. How can you possibly form such a strong resentment for something they you don't even own? Honestly, some of the opinions on these forums are an absolute joke. I'm 100% getting this and then I'll leave my opinion. So far, this looks great.

 

Looks pretty good, I feel like he should be like $100 more.

 

People want cartoon asc figure but with heroic style. Like FT Warpath and such.

 

I'm sure all of that would be fixed if you applied death star texture waterslides to every surface.
We've been in the sunbow era for a long long time now. Luckily for privileged entitled transformers fans, we have options. Enjoy siege and phoenix and us who like MPs can enjoy this guy. Cheers

 

Clearly what people want is cartoon-accurate figures like MP Skyfire, otherwise Takara wouldn’t keep making them.
