    Reminds me of the back and forth grousing when MP36 happened and Megatron was -gasp- GREY! Megatron shouldn't be grey, he should be SILVER! It was the most bizarre line in the sand. "He's only grey as a shortcut in animation" they'd say, while every other Megatron since had been grey in coloration. White would be acceptable, sure, but grey was just over the line. "He needs to be shiny, like the toy was!" But that logic never made sense, because if that was the case then Optimus needs shiny silver or chrome thighs too. But we accept the most awful unpainted grey for Prime. Even if Optimus with chrome legs (animated as white) stood next to Megatron with chrome (animated as grey). So crazy this was what set people off so much.
