OK, sorry for the stupid question, but has he got a butterfly joint? Wotafa doesn't seem to show it, but some pictures suggest he does...

 

This is like the perfect MP. Looks great from every angle. Totally accurate to the cartoon. Lovely paint that feels pretty solid. All the tolerances are nice, no floppy ab crunch or anything. Any complaints about his hips being too thin or the arms sticking out just kind of fade away in person. I don't think it's my favourite, cos you know, it's trailbreaker, but it's about as good as you can get him.

I don't think it has butterfly joint on the arms but I'm no expert on these things. Shoulder can move quite far forward though.

There does not appear to be a way to collapse the arms into the body. Not that I can see.

Biggest complaint I have is there's not much movement on the head. Doesn't seem to be an extendable neck to look up and down and confused dog.

 

I think maybe no butterfly joints in the typical manner, so as not to have a joint that cuts through his windshield. But because the extensions his shoulders are on are open to allow "downwards" movement, as well as up, he can still cross his arms over his chest some.

I was just checking out the DHL tracking link because on the AJ site it said my order may be delayed. I clicked on the option to change the date and I was able to select January 2 as my new delivery date. So I’ll get it earlier instead of later  (no idea if this request will actually get processed ofcourse).

 

Anyone else have their Amazon Japan order not ship with DHL? Mine shipped with “ECMS Express” and isn’t scheduled to arrive for 2 weeks.

This is the first time I’ve ever had an Amazon Japan order not ship with DHL.

You in the States? If you look back a few pages loads of US folks have had this happen because it defaults to basic shipping not premium (it's pretty new apparently)

Yep, same here. First time I've ordered from AJP since Starscream. I definitely wasn't expecting or thinking anything had changed. Kinda sucks, but what can you do?

 

I have on a couple of items. I had two separate Diaclone orders, one came DHS, the other ECMS. I also had a Fist of the north Star fig come via ECMS. For me it almost feels random when they do use ECMS vs. DHL.

 

I always thought it was a steal to get yuge discount AND fast shipping. Now is fair. We were spoiled.

Mines not even giving me that option but I'll accept the 4th as estimated on Amazon app, did you change that on the actual DHL tracking section? 2nd is better than the 4th

 

Is anyone else having trouble tabbing the back in place at the bottom? It seems like everything is lined up correctly but that area with the doors and wheels seems like it’s a tight fit. Maybe other people have had the same issue and can shed some light on it for me. I LOVE the transformation on it. The way things tuck away reminds me of Hound, Optimus Prime and Starscream. They’ve really dialed in the transformation on these guys to make them animation accurate. Thanks for any help y’all!

This happened to me! It is a new option so I noticed and changed the future orders of MPG train bots to express shipping. It’s weird they even have two options because DHL comes in one business day for ONLY $2-4 more lol!!!
