I never noticed until a few years ago that he and Cheetor had stripes and whiskers respectively. (And the MPs also have these details)
I just checked and I paid the deposit in Yen so who’s knows what it’ll mean come September. Also, they never change their prices unless the toy company lowers it before release, then you end up with store points in the amount of the difference. I’m purely thinking about exchange rates. Right now $176.99 = £141.42 but in 6 months could change. However, If I’m locked in to fulfilling my order in Yen then maybe that is the rate I need to keep an eye on... I really have no idea how it works.
I preordered MP Tigatron a couple of days ago. I can't wait for him. He's my all-time favorite Beast Wars character.
How dare we allow this to drop off of page one of the news forum... quick start a circular discussion about show accuracy, arm kibble or the dreaded retool debate!
Man, I hope if they ever do an MP Axepig, they get his beast mode as accurate as possible - and it better be a female!
UK people. Tigatron is up for pre-order on Kapow Toys now Transformers Masterpiece MP-50 Tigatron Beast Wars Figure - Kapow Toys £169.99
So glad we have Amazon JP as a resource. So far I've been buying 2x each Beast Wars (US CG1 series only), and Amazon's pricing makes it more practical. I've never had trouble with my Amazon JP stuff that I couldn't resolve either. I've had them replace stuff before, as well as refund me & let me keep damaged stuff. Really good experiences. I can't wait for this guy to come out, but I hope the next release is a smaller figure. I need to recover from all of these big $$ MP releases. lol.
Now that we've got the official pics, hopefully some of our friendly neighbourhood digi-bashers might give us a look at a Tigertron/Bengaltron/Stripes.
Holy crap. Everyone who preordered this thing at AJP have just been literally handed an almost 5% bump in price. The USD is plummeting.
Not as much as the Canadian dollar is. 73 cents to the USD, 75.20 to the yen. I think it’s actually the yen itself that’s rising.
Wait till the Yen reaches 80, which happened in 2011. That will eat up all the Amazon savings. At 70? It's cheaper to buy through Western retailers. Ain't life grand.
