I I dunno, seems like forced perspective to me. Also, check out that nice side by side of Tigatron and a Cheetor’s lower legs. Not really seeing the shared engineering thing there.
MP-44 poses like an action figure. TE-01 is the cleanest figure ever, but lacks a ton of articulation. That is my ratio, fantastic articulation for decently clean, or fantastically clean for decent articulation. The thing with Tigatron. It has the best beast form of any quadrupedal beastformer ever. I should CV larify that I value looks and articulation over an inventive transformation, and that if something works to an exceptional degree, it shouldn't have to mass shift. Let me preface that I tend to hate BW designs, but that doesn't negate the quality pf the figure. Dinobot is nearlly as complex as MP-44, but it's just a bit simpler and a fair bit shorter. When oit comes to how I would price things, $10 more isn't a bad thing. If, in my fantasy world, Dinobot was $140, I could care less, but when it's $240, I jump ship.
Holy Shi- I forgot How Big He was! I was hoping we would get a Tigatron MP from Cheetor's mold...I am pleasantly surprised with the results and can't wait to own him Please Takara, can we get Terrorsaur next!?!?
Amazing. Tigatron looks fantastic, really nice to see the arm rockets, something I mentioned as a nice feature the could give him way back when we were spitballing about how he could be made different to Cheetor... which he is, a totally new mould with very little shared at all (guys stop arguing about it, it really doesn't matter!). The sculpt looks spot on and did someone say an articulated mouth in robot mode? I'm assuming the same in Beast Mode. I saw some comments about kibble? Looks fine from where I'm standing the additional kibble(over Cheetor) to achieve a cleaner Beast Mode looks miminimal to me, he still looks very close to how he looked in the show and (more importantly) he looks awesome in both modes. 24,000 is s smidge under what I predicted which is a relief, it's still pretty expensive mind you, twices as much as Primal, almost 4 times as much a Cheetor, only a fraction under Dinobot etc etc. I wonder what they will pack in with him to 'justify' it? More importantly I do worry about materials and QC following the Hound debacle and not being totally satisfied with the quality of Blackarachnia. I want one... I just have to decided if Im gonna pre-order or wait it out for reviews.
