Seeing this is a heavy retool of Cheetor makes me hopeful, because Cheetor himself I don’t particularly like handling. Also, I'm happy that his beast mode head ends up on his chest; it always felt wrong for me to force the soft whiskers on Cheetor into his chest cavity.
It’s a 100% retool of Cheetor. Nothing remains of the Cheetor original. Tigatron is bigger than Cheetor and every part that looks the same is also bigger.
I know, it's not that I meant that they took Cheetor and retooled him, but they obviously based Tigatron on him, as they should. So some elements are bound to be similar, transformation included.

He looks to be the best Beast Wars Masterpiece yet, and that's saying something. They really outdid themselves here and once again to any doubters - TakaraTomy doesn't cut corners when it comes to design. He's the proper size, proper head, proper everything. I agree we need more Predacons (and Decepticons). Also this should lay to rest the idea that the numbers are important at all - they aren't. They just release what they want, which is pretty cool. These lines being unpredictable is definitely part of how they've been able to sustain interest.
