So is there going to be a MP and Legacy Evo Dark/Nemesis Leo Prime this year? Not sure how this clash will impact BW fans as a result.

They will buy both. Or one. Or neither. Whatever they like. No different than having a dozen Optimus Primes per year.

 

No... He's not on the same level as Optimus. Which was the main reason that I was asking. Plus I'm still not sure how legit the Legacy Evo Rumor for Nemesis Leo even is.

 

It’s confirmed by listings. Not sure what else you‘re asking. I’m personally getting both. Many others will just get Legacy because it’s easier and cheaper. MP collectors might only get the MP. Some will get none because it’s just a repaint.

 

MP Skids and Legacy Skids also came out less than 6 months apart from each other.

I think "Amber Prime" and BW fans will be fine.

 

I think it'd be fine if they put out a legacy version this year, but there's plenty of other redecos with precedent anyway if they felt it was an issue. There's the Galvatron colors version, Optimus Prime colors, the burning justice version from the movie (could do a two-pack with Primal), and they could even do animation-accurate black Lio Convoy (grey body/black mane).

Eh, in my book this is the typical fat that has to be trimmed in order to pay mortage and all, but it looks gorgeus.

For anyone curious about the plastic finish. It’s a little better than I expected in hand. Plastic is shiny, but it does show a few scuff marks from the factory. Overall pretty good considering no paint. Haven’t transformed mine yet so I haven’t checked out bot mode.
