This unbelievable. The Make Toys Gun Dog was a great figure. That is my go to Hound. It’s funny that a 3rd party figure is better then the official version from Takara.

I had the rear leg flap break a soon as I was transforming back to Jeep mode. I suspect it was broken out of the box, probably when they inserted the pin. I went to fold it up and two pieces of the hinge just fell off.

After a few failed attempts of re-gluing the pieces, I successfully repaired it, and it looks near perfect. You'd never notice it unless it was pointed out. Very stable repair, stronger than it was before.

My Hound was intact after one transformation but the feet were difficult to lock into place.

Transformed him one time, saw some cracks and now he's a statue on my bookshelf. It's a shame since I wanted to transform him more than one time without fear of breaking.

My Hound finally developed a rear leg flap hinge crack as well as multiple right ankle rocker pin joint area cracks (on the painted green plastic...not the softer unpainted green plastic). He was crack free in those areas for a while...the cracks developed while he was standing on the shelf. And, it happened well past the return window. I am hoping they just recall him. He’s just a crumbling statue for me at this point. This is a good candidate for a recall if there ever was one. In fact, I won’t be buying any new TT MP releases until they do issue a recall for this guy.

Same here. He was perfectly fine a week ago and now all the sudden I have a crack at the neck armature.

I hate to say it, since I absolutely love this design, but this guy is a ticking time bomb. And with those ankle cracks on mine, I'm just waiting for him to topple over.

Woud you say the 2nd batch would be a safe bet? Some places are advertising a 2nd batch.

Is there any evidence or any claims made by Takara that a change was made to fix the cracks and breakage?

That's Exactly where Mine broke, except two pieces came off. I suspect that a lot of these were cracked during assembly. Mine fell apart when I went to transform it back to Jeep mode the first time. I did repair it though. It's structurally sound, and works perfectly, after a few failed attempts to reattach the original pieces. Good question. And not that Im aware of. Some etailers have him listed as 2nd batch, probably to have people to think that it is an improved shipment.

No breakage yet, but with a crack like that is only a matter of time. A week ago it wasn't there or so small I didnt notice.

I would recommend superglue before it breaks completely. Just take out the screw first and remove the missile launcher.

Did it get a recall? I know they apologized for it, but did they have people send back their figures if they so chose?
