Damn, I thought that putting yellow eyes in my TT MP-10 made him my ideal Toy Optimus but I couldn't have been more wrong! When they release MP-44+ in a year or two I hope that he'll look exactly like this.

I can't wait to see this mould in Powered, Nemesis and Magnus colours. And Pepsi Convoy, Takara make my dream come true!

Whoa thanks!!! I will say though that MP-10 is surprisingly close to the G1 toy so I wouldn't totally count him out! And at some point I may find time to at least digibash that Pepsi Convoy, even if TT never produces it ;)

Here they are in the old Cordon news thread...

...And here is the suspiciously official-looking listing that used it. (Scroll down to prime roller's post.)

Aha! I just found some later posts about them being put up on various sites claiming they were official, but hadn't found the actual pics yet! Well I can see why people believed they were real :thumb  :thumb  :thumb  Amazing job!

Yep, seems like about how I'm feeling right now, haha.

Just for laughs I did a Google search just now and found my robot-mode Cordon being used by Collecticon Toys in their various photos accompanying their listing for him. I guess it still makes the rounds!

Back in the day I recall chimungmung using some Tracks art I made in their MP Tracks listing, but it appears to have been removed. Ah well...

I found your digibash making the rounds because Unicron.com posted it as news.

    Unicron.com

In retrospect, I should have realized how suspicious it was that a redeco was seemingly in progress so soon, and no one in this forum had beaten everyone else to posting about it. For better or for worse, your digibash is of sheerly realistic quality. Kudos.

Ok that's hilarious, especially because Collecticon is now sending me messages on Twitter to tell me about mine being "stolen"... :lol

Thanks and sorry again...after notifying them about it, at least Unicron.com is now following me so hopefully it won't happen again (by them at least)...

    *snort*

The really funny thing is, it's so obviously a Sunstreaker digibash. It's the Sunstreaker head, one of the official Takara photos...

Haha...yeah in hindsight that gives it away. Maybe they saved it off early before real photos arrived and never bothered to compare again. It probably would have fooled me if I had seen it before Cordon was announced!

I was going to have to pass on MP-44 because of the price after having every previous MP (at least of the season 1 bots which is all I collect). I just couldn't do $450. I had no idea we could order from Amazon Japan until I was reading through this thread, then I saw a couple people mention getting it there. I then did a little research on experiences buying from Amazon Japan in the US and saw some goo things.

Well I placed an order for MP-44 last night from them and I am super excited. It's still expensive but for around $320 I can stomach that price easier than $450. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and I actually receive it.

Thanks for the Amazon JP suggestion!

A little off topic, but it's got me even more exited for MP-44. My local Target had a set of Siege Leaders and Voyagers and man are they good toys. Mangus hits all the main versions of the character so well and Shockwave is fun. I was going to hold off on Prime, but I figured if I did, I might not enjoy him as much after playing with MP-44. The way Siege Optimus's front folds is crazy cool. I can't wait to see it taken to the next level on MP-44.

Edit: I know this is a bit of dead horse, but if you take the price of the Siege wave 1 Leaders and Voyagers your already about half way to the cost of Prime on Amazon.jp and only $85.01 away from MP-36+ on BBTS.

I don't know if you've seen @Sam or others post about this but you can also buy Amazon JP gift cards directly through the site and apply it to your order from time to time to chip away at what you owe. I actually paid for mine in full using this method and it was instantly like a cloud being lifted in terms of not having to anticipate that charge in the future and being able to just straight up enjoy the various scans of MP-44 that have popped up since.
