I unfortunately just discovered a couple cracks on his shoulder cannon armature, what kind of glue did you use to help the cracks on yours not propagate further?

Aw no, sorry to hear that :(  I used regular clear Krazy Glue, however, @Jarrod turned me on to Zap-a-Gap Glue (example link, not sure which seller I bought from: https://www.amazon.com/Pacer-Techno...vtargid=pla-326675147958&psc=1&language=en_US), which I've used for repairing some of kids' toys and other items around the house and it seems MUCH stronger. I'd definitey recommend that if you can get it!

Awesome, thanks! I’ll definitely look into those options! What kind of look do they leave behind, is it just a glossy coating look over the area it’s applied, or is it barely visible at all?

I tell you. I love the figure but its been disheartening whenever something gives on it. Finally got the knees sorted and then boom left hip ratchet. I'm too chicken shit/lazy to attempt a fix right now but this weekend I will hopefully get to it. Home boy is just benched for now.

Plus side is with nemesis looks like they fixed a few things so I'm hoping they will re-release Prime with the same fixes. Just the main figure, although like @Sam keeps saying I would be content with mp 44+ and pass on an original reissue with the fixes as a toy version would make me content. I like the toon asthetic but I don't need it. Just a version of prime will do, but especially a toy repaint.

Yeah, they both leave a glossy coating, though I always do a stupid thing and deliberately wipe off any excess before it fully dries--this makes it look like a slightly rough, dull shine, but I find it's almost indistinguishable from a painted-over sprue mark or other typical imperfection that way. There's probably much better ways to do it, ha. But even with that, if it's a small enough area or near a joint, it's pretty hard to notice unless you're explicitly looking for it up-close and in very strong lighting.

I’ll take an MP-44 rerelease with the MP-49 antenna/knees and also hard ratchets instead of soft ratchets, also the trailer but don’t need the voice box nor Starscream parts.

It may actually look better to me without paint like if Takara decides to mold it in more muted colors like in some episodes where the red was darker and the blue was greyish.

Well I got my replacement mp-44 after sending back the one that had the bad chipped chrome on the front bumper and the replacement has similar spots on both sides. After looking at some videos, it seems others have the same mark, which must be sprue marks. Why on earth they would put them on the facing side is beyond me. At least the paint is pretty much flawless and my antenna are straight

With some of the fixes to MP-49 how long do you think we wait now for a reissue of 44? Im kinding leaning toward a Megatron reissue with Starscream, his price has started to go back up, if we're waiting till mid year for Starscream, I wouldn't be surprised to see both reissued int eh months before release.

Hopefully. If so, I would GLADLY drop for another figure. Especially if it were a stand alone figure, which I know won't happen... A guy can dream.

Finally got around to fixing my OP 44 flight stands now that I have a couple Japanese screwdrivers. Only took a few minutes to unscrew the stands and scrape off flashing from the gears and locking mechanism. Much better now. Tons of fun! Hope the new Starscream comes with a truly great stand!

Agreed. It's hard to get a bad shot if it. And the use of the blast effect that came with Bluestreak + and Ironhide's jet effects are much better than those the figure came with.

Do some of you think a fixed reissue will happen sometime? I bought the KO but I would have much preferred buying an official with no issues. So does TT make that sort of things?

It's going to happen. The only question is when. MP-49 has addressed the issues of MP-44.
