Cockpit can be removed by sliding up leaving only the arm with the blue part that attaches.
Yeah, I really started playing with the trailer Sunday and there’s a lot going on with it. I’m absolutely loving the play features.
Hurray !!! Love it love it. Right up to my expectations
What does he look like next to Fanstoys Sovereign
Once again, soft plastic on Prime's legs causing warping at knee joints, here's how you fix:
This fix worked perfectly. I now have 2 good knees.
Thanks for posting the video on how to fix the knees. Didn't know how the mechanics of how the knee joints worked with just pictures. Video helped big time.
He goes into how to use the stand.
Haha, @Tman978 pretty much vocalized the Spongebob mock meme in reference to the “You shouldn’t have to fix...” crowd. I love that.
Prime didn’t come to Earth to give us the willies, he came to help us out. He was a booster and it’s with that take of Optimus in mind that we come up with a new more inspiring version.
So it is with great pleasure that I present you with the first of many revamps Takara-Tomy will unveil over the next year.
I give you… the Buddy Prime!
the new prime looks sick!! can you post some pics of him with FT motormaster and some of the bigger autobots like silverbolt, blaster or the dino bots for comparison?
...i dont know if you can post 3rd partys here, just blur their faces or something lol
Blaster and Dinobots I can do. Silverbolt is pulling torso duty in Superion, I sold Road King last week.
I'll up some pics later
You sold roadking?!? who are you going in on for Menasor?
Just got mine from TFS. Opened the box it was shipped in. . . . Thought about opening MP44 box... Put it away for some other time. I don't know why but I feel like I don't want to open it.
If you do plan on eventually opening your MP-44, probably better sooner than later so you can inspect it at least and work with TFS just in case there is a defect before the return policy expires.
Just transformed him! Transformation is involved but OK, he looks and feels great. No QC issues, but following the forums showed me when to exercise caution. Some paint residue (which well off without issue, some very minor paint scuffing). Very happy with him!
Edit: his left knee went. The fix is quick. The plastic should have been stronger. It's curing now, I want it to bond well before re-attaching.
Anyone else find the front to back hip ratchet joint is slight offset to one side and not 100% straight when it's in the supposed "neutral" position?
So it's pretty difficult to get him in a 100% straight up neutral stance, without him either crotch thrusting a little bit, or his waist bending forward a bit. It doesn't help either that the front to back ankle ratchet has pretty wide clicks, so you can't really adjust there.
