Yes, regardless of which version of the KO you have, do indeed push that pin in all the way. It'll make it much easier to move it and let it sit properly. That little box can throw everything off, even if it's MM instead of CM or inches. Just a hair is enough to throw the torso out of whack.

Takara-Tomy might be wizards, but they do love pushing their tolerances to the max. UGh.

    I have it. It's the latest/newest version.

    Pros:
    -No chrome to chip.
-No electronics/flat backpack, easier to transform.
-Joints seem to be fixed. (Knees, especially.)
-Gun tab is remolded to fit the hand much better than before.

    Cons:
-I recommend silicone (Super Lube) on the ratchets anyway.
-New backpack forms the bumper and the bumper can feel fragile (it hasn't broken, or come close to it, but I just thought I'd warn.)
-Still needs the pin properly set in the Matrix chamber.

Overall, this is the one I'd recommend over any of them. I had the 1.0 KO that's a 1:1 replica of the Mp-44 mold but the knees and one shoulder blew out almost right out of the box. It really sucked. That's how I ended up with two of these. (1.0 and this one.)

All the KOs of this guy seem to have gap in the waist. Is there a way to fully compress the torso to the pelvis, like the legit one?

Yeah, still suffers from some of the early issues like the hip ratchets potentially mushing themselves into friction joints (just repaired another one new in the package that the right leg ratchet was coming undone). And that AliExpress price is too much, go to ShowZ and get it for $79 if you are gonna go for it.
I've had multiple versions apart many times and that's one thing that can't be adjusted. The way the parts are molded just won't allow it to go down to hide the hinge more.

I thought it looked a little light in the backpack. That's even worse that this can still happen

I just received MP-44 KO and wanted to know how the forearms can be disassembled. I want to remove the yellow arrow inserts and paint them.

Open the outside transformation panel to expose the black screw and flip down the panels to flip the hand in for the other screw to take it apart. Once those are out it slides apart and you can get the arm detail piece out.

    Thank you!

So I got the two screws out and the panels won’t budge. Are they glued in place?

Dang! So sorry, the pin needs to come out right below the elbow joint too. It's not in super tight so with support and a little push, it will come right out. Then everything comes apart.
