No offense but you can get the same figure from ShowZ for $89.99 (Free Shipping to USA too). You'd be better off contacting the local seller you bought off and try get your money back, if not a partial refund.

 

I feel your pain. I couldn't get myself to get a KO at all, because he's missing the trailer, roller and other stuff. I need it ALL. I was happy when I found a complete original (minus box and display adapter thingie) for $300 used.

 

The blast effect is glued but even if you do get it apart They soldered the battery to the contacts. You could separate the blast effect and then use a soldering iron and remove the batteries but they would need to be soldered back after. I tried but the battery itself is an odd size. Better off contacting the seller to get a replacement blast effect

 

Oh, I should've done my due diligence first. Guess I'll make do with waiting until someone here that wants to part ways with their battle damaged head since any refund is unlikely

Wow surprised it took so long for a modified backpack version, I’d have considered it before I bought MS OPv2.

 

The modified backpack version came out quite a bit before the MS-02.

 

It's been out for a long time.

 

The KO is the KO is the KO. Doesn't matter where you buy it.

Hey gang, I have a question. So is V4 a drastic improvement from silver V3? I have V3 and love it AND he is holding up well (admittedly I don't transform it), but was wondering if I should upgrade to V4. Any thoughts?

 

I had the silver pants and now have this version. Qualitywise he is the same. I wouldnt prefer 1 over the other beside the small backpack.

Im currently waiting on SPSBP (silverpants small backpack prime) though!

 

If you want a more cartoon accurate colorscheme MP-44 as well as the improved backpack then yeah I would say go for it. Aside from my copy having slightly loose gas canisters on the legs I've been having a blast messing around with him and consider it the definitive Optimus Prime in my collection. I'm tempted to go buy another just so I can have one on display and the other to play around with to my heart's content.
