As for 2: depends on what you want. As of overall spectical. Takara’s is better. It’s feels more premium. If you just want a figure to play with or do custom work on the KO will be better.

Even if we consider the KO silver version?

    And wdym for "overall"?
Many times a KO fix a few problems the original had, and sometimes it comes with new ones. What is the case of MP44? Does the KO fix anything?

Yes, even with V3. All KO’s lack paint compared to the official. Almost every piece on the official is coated in paint. Where the KO almost appears flat and cheap next to the official.

When I mean overall I’m talking about the complete package. The KO isn’t the complete package.

From what I understand all versions have some issues in the knees. KO V3 is probably the best if you want to play with your figure.

My V2 came w/ a V1 logo and it was outside the box underneath the packaging.

It depends on a lot of factors, the size of the collector's wallet is probably the most important...
After that It's all about what you want for your collection. IMO KOs are a hit or miss, sometimes they are worth your money sometimes they don't.
The only KO I own is the V1 MP44, problems aside It's a pretty damn cool figure to display on your collection, and if I never transformed the guy I was still ok with it.

    Why did I bought it?
Like many, I didn't have the budget to afford the original when he was released, and since I never owned a KO I deicided to take my chances because to me this mold is absolutely perfect.

Aside this factor, I always refrained myself on buying KOs because of some reviews where most have bad paint apps.
My priority is quallity over quantity... i preffer to spend my money on one figure that deserves it, rather than buying 4 for the same amount.

This is just point of view, I'm not trying to force it on anyone else.

Last November Show.Z had people voting on Facebook for the "next" version of MP-44 KO. I guess silver legs version won? I suppose that is the final choice on their list below but I sure thought they meant a "fully painted" version to more closely match TT. Or even a more "bling" version of MP-44.

    Show.Z Store
The KO mp44 factory wants to do another repaint of the MP44
Which one do you guys think is the best to sell?
    like:
    Black version
    White version
    SG (shattered glass)
    Metallic paint/Chrome

I finally went with Magic Square to get a white Prime/Ultra Magnus when I spotted one for sale. Do we think there will be a 4th run of MP-44 KO and if any of these might occur?

Metallic paint/Chrome would make me think they are offering a fully painted version with all the bits that are now silver as chrome, kinda like the Magic Square reissue of MS-01 with X for full metallic paint all over the figure. This would be super cool on the MP-44 KO and I'd like to think silver legs was slated to come anyway and maybe they are doing one of those choices. I can see a full metallic/chrome or black nemesis prime having about equal popularity then white magnus and shattered glass coming last. Even though metallic would be cool, I bet more people would go for black at this point since there have been 3 versions of OP released so far. Sales have been good on this KO so far so why not! Make it Wan Xiang!

My logo was in a small plastic bag taped outside to the box the figure was in. Its a different logo than V1. Looks the same as the official mp44 (eyes not white but red, so only white lines).

    Easy to miss!!

Is there anywhere to get a pair of straight antennae for the MP-44 KO? Ones that I don't have to do anything to to make them straight?

That's a bit highly priced for v2. If it were the prototype shown in the pics on that, I might go for it (but that's me).

$120 shipped off eBay was around the price I paid for white legs.

$152! Too much! Last time I checked there were plenty of sellers on Aliexpress that offered both but I haven't looked in a while if stock is available

Got mine today. No symbol in the box, just a sheet of autobot decals. I'll mess with him for a bit and then tear him apart!

Oh that blows. Check out the link below if you really want an actual badge and can't get one from the store you bought yours from.

TF-Direct is selling them for $5.60 (one penny for the logo and $5.59 shipping lol)
