Yes, I got the Autobot symbol. I can see how it could be easily lost. Are you going to put it on Primes arm?

Yes. I like the snap on Autobot logo they provided better than as dry rub or sticker. Especially the 2nd batch symbol.

What do you mean angled more downward? Is it something that can be shaved down?

Version 3.0 only means it's a KO of the third masterpiece Optimus Prime after MP-01 and MP-10

No. Not that I know of anyway. I just seems like the piece is too high. Probably a result of reverse engineering. I don’t know how to get it to be lower other than just pushing it down. I’m still trying to find a way to get it to stay still once I’ve done that since it goes back to its original position. The scotch tape helped but it didnt keep the piece all the way down. Here’s what the figure looked like when I held the piece down all the way.

Ok, so I received my V2 finally! It was lost and reappeared out of nowhere. I am not enthusiastic about it anymore. The knees are very stiff on it, so i may have to do a couple things on it. The hips seem as fragile as they were on my V1 so I guess I will have to take time to go through some fixes on it and then I will give my final thoughts about it. But so far... not impressed...

I used a fine tip gold paint pen for mine. Looks decent enough. Could stand to be a bit more coppery. It isn't going to hold up to being removed and inserted in the Matrix chamber much at all, but I don't ever remove it, so no worries for me.

On mine the legs don't peg together very well. The flaps that form the insides of the legs next to the knees just kind of "mush" in, but don't stay in place. And the outer portion of Prime's left leg is also kind of mushy, and ends up leaving a gap no matter how much I try to push it together.

Anyone else have that problem or a good fix?

That is a very common problem with this figure. Head to the first page and download the PDF @God Orion created. It is a treasure trove of information on fixes and repairs!

I asked a friend who owns the original release from TT, to send me some photos so that I could compare with my KO and help me with my fixes.
While comparing, I found that the edges on the hip skirts from the original are shaped differently. The KO seems to have excess of plastic, that seems to cause the piece being stuck, and not returning to the original position when we straighten the legs.

    Here's a comparison photo

Huh. This seems like exactly what happened with a panel on the V1 KO's forearms (it's IMPOSSIBLE to fold a certain way for transformation if you DON'T file the corner near the hinge at an angle).

And again, that is not what makes it not return to original position... The play in the hips on the original is because the axle on the hip ratchet is a tad longer than on the KO. This result as the function not working properly as the hip skirt panel rubs too much at the hip. As the only solution is making the axle longer, there is no fix for this... Sacrificing the wobbly hips makes that function not working properly. All this is covered in the MP-44 fix thread

Yes you have your reason on this, but on mine particular case I also know for a fact that the piece is indeed causing friction on the upper part when it moves. I'm not trying to say that only sanding the piece will work, as it's probably a mix of both problems (at least on my copy).
You did a excelent job with the file, and that's unquestionable. My point with this post was only sharing my point of view on this particular case, and not making it an absolute truth. We all are on the same boat, and we are only sharing our thoughts as we go along.

I'm sorry if I was misunderstood.

I was not talking about the KO MP-44 PDF I wrote. And I completely understand where you are at. It's just that I already investigated about this and already came to the conclusion. To sum it up, filing this part will not change a thing and I did not want to sound like the master of the universe. So excuse me if I was not talking right to you.

Apparently. Some said maybe the blue and red could be painted too but there is nothing sure about this
