Beast wars MPs make for such boring discussion. There's only so many ways you can say "it's perfect, it's right out of the show" before redundancy creeps in...

But I will try...

Oh my God he looks so damn gorgeous the paint work is amazing the subtle sheen the painted on stripes the beast mode eyes are articulated butterfly shoulders a fully articulated hand the headsulpt is incredible the robot mode is so clean and the proportions are spot-on the green gradient is perfect the sculpted scales look right out of the show how does he not have more kibble the jointing in the arms is amazing you can get way beyond the gorilla arms of the original ultra he's so fucking big he makes Primal look like a baby they're gonna look so badass together even the inside of the tail is accurately sculpted I just wanna FUCKING EAT IIITTTTT!!!!

Between this and Dinobot my inner child is in tears. This line is an actual, literal, dream come true. If it was announced tomorrow that MP Megs would be the last release ever I would only nod and say I couldn't ask for more, but the idea that we'll actually end up with more characters of this quality fills me with immense joy.

Blackarachnia next! No, Rattrap next! No wait, gotta do Rhinox first- or would he come after Rattrap? What about Tarantulas? What about Waspinator? Or hell, even Scorponok was a favourite of mine as a kid- but then Terrorsaur and Tigatron and Airazor and Inferno... the possibilities!

 

Man. I really want this. But I already had to cancel my Dinobot and Shadow Panther preorders to pay for car repairs. It's a bummer, but that's life I guess.

 

That's rough, dude. I hate when unexpected expenses crop up. (and always at the most inopportune times) Hopefully one day you'll be able to grab them on the after market. (maybe even for cheaper?)

 

This thing looks nice; perhaps the 1st BW MP I might actually have interest in.

 

Man, if only they treated the MPMs like this, but no, instead, we get barely better versions of the generations figures.


Megatron it's looking incredible and so far the best toy of this year, even better than MP-36.

There's just, nothing that says me "i'm wrong", everything i see here it's perfect.

Has there ever been greater divergence between BW and G1 .. just as BW Megs is getting shown in fully painted MP glory, you have that hot pile of poo called v3 Optimus haphazardly revealed ... might just become a BW only guy when it comes to TT’s Masterpiece line at this point ...

 

I liked the grey proto a lot. I liked the colored pic from the pamphlet even more. Holy balls, the actual painted figure is incredible.

I realize G1 was all over the place and these guys had very clear character models and appearances in the show, but their realization as toys is a level of show likeness that is collector nirvana.

Rattrap, Rhinox, Inferno, Blackarachnia, and Waspinator please...in any order! Tarantulas, Scorponok, Tigatron, Airazor, and Terrorsaur can come too.

Probably been answered already but they do move.

 

I'm G1 through and through but yep, this magnificent beast totally steals v3 Prime's thunder. Hoping better pics and colour will rescue Prime somewhat, but at this moment All Hail Megatron!

 

I swear, the next time David Kaye is in town I'm going to get a second Megatron and get him to admire it and sign it.

 

That Megatron trully looks glorious.

But I'm a little bothered that Cheetor isn't present. He deserves to be in that display as much as they do.

 

GodDAMN. First time in a long time i've felt compelled to use the word "Masterpiece" when it comes to a Transformer figure. Like it just stepped out of the screen, holy shit!

 

Just when I’m so close to dropping this line because of cost TT have to go and show off this amazing piece of art. Damn, I hope I can afford it.

 

I’d love to see what kind of stop motions you could come up with for this.
