He doesn't want to get the toy pregnant.

I have three suggestions:

1. Carefully disassemble as much of the torso as you can to see if that black piece is glued on or screwed on. Mine is packed away otherwise I'd try it myself. Could be as simple as removing the black piece entirely and reinserting it properly before screwing it.

2. This isn't ideal, but if the piece is glued/not removable, maybe getting an exacto knife or hobby cutters to trim the peg away and using a micro-drop of superglue to hold the black piece down without it. Obviously cutting and gluing a toy this expensive is shitty, but if worse comes to worse it looks like a simple fix.

3. Looking at the pic are you sure the peg is properly lined up with the hole? It looks off, like the peg is too high. Maybe take a toothpick and try to gently push the peg into place that way? It looks like I can see the hole its meant for under the peg but it may be the lighting.

 

Ohhhhh, I think i see waht you're talking about.

That isn't a peg. It's a... bar? Point is, the shoulders can slide forwards or backwards as part of transformation. Push the ARM forward.

Edit: Ignore me. I just took a look at mine. I am wrong. That looks like a quality control issue.

 

that black peg isnt in the hole. looks like its just next to it. pushing doesnt work? maybe they put glue on it and the peg is glued thats why it isnt moving...

Your third point is correct, the peg is not lined up with the hole. I previously tried pushing down on the black piece with my hands so it would line up, but it didn't budge.

I was afraid of dissembling it, so I ended up pushing the peg with a flathead screwdriver and managed to get it mostly in. It still sticks out a small gap though.

Contemplating buying a new figure lol. It's really bothering me  

 

Just a sudden thought: This thing could have gotten an easy repaint to T-Wrecks (with a new head probably). I'm surprised that they haven't done it.

You don't want it. The paint quality is terrible

 

T-Wrecks is something from the western/Hasbro portion of the market. Someone pointed out it's the same reason MP Dinobot never got repainted as Grimlock. It's a US figure so Takara wasn't all that interested. I'd have to go check to see if they ever did KD Grimlock.

 

I've only seen a handful of pictures, it looked ok?
