What new issues? A few arrived broken crotch pieces?

 

Yeah, not seeing it. A paint chip here, a scratch there, these “issues” crop up with literally every figure with half the engineering of MP-43. Only issue ive seen are like two reports of broken crotches

 

Out of curiosity, does the dino head turn more towards one direction than the other? Mine can rotate more towards the right than left.

Thanks for the pics! There's a second clip inside the arm that locks it securely in place. However, DO NOT lock it in without the arm attached as it is nearly impossible to pull out as there is very little leverage.

 

I know we’re not supposed to comment on other sites, but wow, that headline is pure tabloid clickbait, even down to the inclusion of the figure’s price. There seems to be an agenda there.

 

Yeah, this seems to be the case for all figures.

Yup, this is indeed the case. I think it's because the dino head turning is also the elbow joint, so they want it turning one way more than the other?

 

That would make sense! However I'm pretty sure it moves more in the other direction.

Heh...knowing Seibertron the way I do...I'm not in the least bit surprised...but like you say we aint allowed to talk about that  

On the crotch issue I can happily report mine is good...for now. I really do not like the choice of plastic, I've never liked this swirly stuff and alway felt it was softer and weaker than most plastics. I do think TT made a mistake in materials for this area....but happily mine seems to hold.

 

Woot! MP-43 has officially shipped. Thanks to all who helped me get past my anger over the preorder cancellation nonsense.

 

OK so how worried should I be right now....? it looks like there are fissures - can't quite tell if they reach the surface - where's a 3p replacement when you need it???

 

I tried swapping these two, the tabs look different. It looks like they could go in with some force but I didnt want to risk it.

Just looks like the plastic to me. This is why headlines like a certain one mentioned earlier in this thread are a problem, they cause undue panic

 

Mine looks exactly like that. I ran my fingernail over them and it doesnt catch on anything so while it looks cracked it isnt. I moved the legs as much as I could and nothing broke.

 

This is pretty consistent with how it looks on the figures owned by a few people in this thread. So far none of them have broken and we *think* it’s going to be ok. Still, handle carefully...

They do look slightly different in this image. I haven't tried swapping these particular faces.

Gonna have to mess around with them a bit later to see if mine are like that too.
