So one of the things that still troubles me to this day, and the reason I seriously was hoping for a review, was about his overall size.
In this picture Megatron looks big, glorious, beautiful and huge. His head is literally almost as big as Primal which is absolutely awesome.

But then in this picture (with Dinobot) , Megatron is pretty much the same size as Dinobot, which is kind of disappointing because it would make him a lot smaller then the first picture makes it seem.

And in this picture with Primal, Megatron looks much much smaller than he does in the 1st picture, where his head looks bigger than Primal's entire body.

In the first picture Megatron looks absolutely huge, when compared to Primal. In the rest he looks....average sized. Was the first picture just a forced perspective, for the sake of making Megatron look bigger than he really is and more enticing? If so, then I am not gonna lie, I'm gonna be a bit disappointed.
I just wish we had some actual images/reviews of him... it would make his purchase easier to justify. Since I still haven't bought him yet, and am afraid of being too late to.

I think the first pic is accurate and the other two being forced perspective. Also Dinobot is huge compared to Primal.

I’m no expert, but it looks like something has been done with the image.

Look above Primal’s ‘neck plate’ and you may see some distortion (which could just as easily be a chance pattern):

It’s not an exact match, but here’s a snip from that scene in S1 ep. 2 for comparison:

For what it’s worth, I’m not fussed if this size difference isn’t accurate. :)

I’m super excited to get him loaded up with batteries, his eyes look fantastic in robot mode.

Just to set your expectations right, Megatron should be as big as MP-36.

Size seems consistent between all these pictures to me tbh.

I think the catch is that Primal compacts in gorilla mode while Megatron expands, so the size difference is exagerated compared to what you'll get in robot mode.

I doubt they were simply placing Primal there without some kind of support. That photoshop is probably them blurring out a string or finger that was holding Primal in place.

hmm interesting it does look like the image was quickly clone stamped above primals head.

my guess would be to clone out a string or a wire that might have been supporting him in that pose. edit LOL Sam just pointed this out above.

I know this is nit-picky, but I'm a little concerned that Megatron's dino-hands won't be able to make contact. It was such a common thing for him to do in Dino mode, for his hands to twiddle while he talks in that meglomaniac way, I really want to display him that way. But looking at these pictures, I really don't see that happening.

Other than that, I can't believe we are a week away. Hype.

I was puzzled and thrilled by those same images and wanted to see just how Megatron would feel in hand compared to Dinobot.
I put together a photo of Dinobot and Primal in the same pose as the first image and then compared them.

I'm 100% certain that's to edit out the string or whatever was holding Primal up for that pose.

I love how we're having to take a microscope to this figure to find things wrong with him. And no, that's not a sarcastic or disparaging comment towards you or your criticism, but the figure is legitimately so perfect we can only find minor faults of preference versus giant, glaring errors or mis-steps like every G1 MP seems to have these days. (and that's not an anti-G1 statement, I'm just annoyed at how the G1 MPs always prove so divisive because of design decisions)

Like, what's honestly fundamentally flawed about this figure? The somewhat unsightly back panels when viewed from behind? It's not even the backpack itself, which is accurately scaled and shaped, it's just not smooth like the TV show. Even the beast mode has like no major gaps and the seams are practically hairline. Articulation, sculpt, paint, accuracy, it's all there.

This figure is as close to perfection as an MP can be, in all honesty.
