If you really want to lock it in, buy some JPY, and then change it back to USD when you pay. So you'll have to pay 2x transaction fees on this but you are locking in the USD price.

Transaction fees mean you'll lose 10% total in the end.

Ah well, no customs in good old USA, so everything's good!!! And I believe the price will still drop a bit more.

If you are worried, covert 250 USD to JPY right now. Then covert it back when you go to buy. That way you break even no matter what way the USD:JPY ratio goes.

You've never really exchanged any currency before have you? You'll lose 10% in the end. There's this thing called transaction fees and the spread.

Im lowkey frustrated about how hype I was for Dinobot coming out soon and then this guy rolls through with the amazing product shots and a 6-month waiting period making Dinbot feel like old news starting the entire waiting game all over again.... Im always waiting for something... this hobby man...

Paypal is 3% each way and it's probably the easiest, but there are other less direct ways with 0.3% fees. People with millions of dollars in internationally businesses don't like fees and have made ways around them.

AE declares a low value to avoid custom fees: does Amazon JP do the same? I guess not

I bought there too (as always) :rock

amazon does not declare low value, but they give you import fees up front so no surprises or additional when you order it and it can only go lower. I think it could be slightly cheaper than AE or about even at the end, AE shipping cost gets high on large figures.

Friggin' awesome! The face looks so much like the original cgi model it'd be uncanny if it weren't so beautiful. T-Rex mode is pretty gorgeous as well, looks way less gappy than expected.

It's worth noting that while. AJ is charging import fees, their shipping is 10$. Balances out imo.

I'm going domestic/Kapow on mine. It's more than Japanese ordering, but no Customs and it'll be here lightning quick.

That's worth it on this one. Jan is far enough away as it is.......
