Kinda excited to see BW Megatron but the price is a killer even without shipping - his pre-order price (in my country) even HIGHER than SOC GX-71 GoLion's!

Yeah, I'm curious about the cost increase...I just hope that the thing doesn't suffer from paint scratches as bad as Primal does! Its very nerve wrecking to transform my munky! LOL!

 

At one a year, we're looking at 30 years until all three seasons of the show cast is done.

Each have their own difficulties. I'm excited to see how they do Terrorsaur.

 

Do we really need a reptilian skin replica surface?
It's kinda hardly demanding seeing robot parts or kibbles in altmode.
I mean what's the point if the alt mode isn't 100% clean even with moving the alt mode arms and legs?

 

It's significantly better than having the surface painted with the scale detail and it also better represents the character design. Megatron's robot mode still had the scale pattern

In HK, the pre-order price is 1800 HKD or less than 230 USD. If you are seeing a price over 300 USD, you are over-paying massively.

For example, the pre-order price is 1829 HKD on this site. You pay 500 HKD as a deposit.

This and @Verno 's comment got me thinking that some of the Transmetals and Fuzors could probably have been done nicely as mainline voyager and leader class toys, if they where made with the same care as the likes of Legends Rhinox or Leader Movie Starscream. It's a totally ridiculous expectation, our own sort of Studio Series line that pays attention to the scale of the MP characters, but a nicely painted deluxe Quickstrike, voyager class Transmetal Cheetor, Tarantulas could pull off MP levels of accuracy if they tried for it. It'd be great to see some of these characters perhaps get the same sort of treatment as some of the movie designs have gotten, the benefit of having been tackled multiple times and gradually closing the gap in the differences between the figures and their screen representations. Maybe then we could tick a few characters off our want lists. A few things that make this idea seem stupid is the chrome and metallic paints required to pull off accurate looking TMs and the possible gaps in quality that would be evident compared to BW Mp's regarding stuff like articulation and molded details.

Those of us who have been waiting years now to complete G1 S1 cast are looking at you guys talking about a complete Beast Wars cast and chucking to ourselves. That's adorable.

 

I was so excited to pre-order him! Dang. So close. Can't wait until I can have him shipped internationally...How long do you guys think that will take?

 

Been chuckling at you guys since you started dreaming your impossible dream. You do realise that it's a SLIGHTLY more realistic in the case of Beast Wars, what with it have a must smaller cast. I still don't think it will happen but it's no more than a dozen characters.

 

Once BW MPs get halfway then they'll start Armada MPs...
