I........I literally will put myself in debt if I have to to get this magnificently glorious sexy beast of a plastic figure.........And I've never bought as MP before.........which means I'll have to get the other MP beasties once I get him cuz sure enough I'll be hooked once I fool round with it.

Jeez louise, we get official photos of one of the most spectacular figures of all time, and this thread turns into DuckGate 2018??? What a fandom. Just go grab any tiny rubber duck off Etsy or something; who cares when the figure itself looks this amazing??

That is some strange logic right there! Not including a different character's accessory is suddenly proof that character is being released next?? Man, I'm glad Sunstreaker didn't come with Jazz's speakers then! Been waiting for MP Jazz forever!

    Pretty much! :lol

Jeez, that is some Pennywise $&%# right there!

You won't be disappointed. The MP BW line has been nothing but home runs so far in terms of quality.

The MP BW line has made me the happiest of any TF line ever.

I can't say again how happy I am to see my childhood heroes recreated so faithfully, so literally, from the show I watched religiously as a child. It's incredible. I say often that if the line ended with Megatron I'd have no regrets, but the fact that we're still just at the beginning fills me with just pure joy. Megatron is just spectacular. Every release just outdoes the last in ways I could not imagine. I think I may get a special display case just for them so I can have them in my room but protected from dust and shit.

And as much as I fear the price, I also know that after Megatron, no matter who they do next, they'll be cheaper. At least until they, maybe, get to Rhinox.

There is absolutely no reason Rhinox shpild be more expensive- he is shorter and just as bulky. His transformation will really only require fudging the jaw like with cheetor and dinobot. Greed would be the only reason Rhinox would cost more

Meh, they used the same push button gimmick that Generations Rhinox had for Dinobot’s spinning sword

Well the has me WAY more excited than MP Convoy V3, he's bloody perfect. The toothbrush and rife are nice touches as is the ability to take the armour off. They've really nailed this one, looks like TT cab do no wrong with BWMPs.

I can’t imagine a character from Prime Wars ever managing to do something as fun or quirky as anything close to that, such a thing involves far too much actual personality. It would be a breath of fresh air that the writers are incapabale of.... just sayin’.

Why is everyone saying this? There is no evidence to suggest that Megatron has to partsform.

I was mostly kidding. I wouldn't even want something motorized. Just give me some effect pieces and that's all I would want.

Well, there it is, the greatest Transformers toy ever, everything else is worthless dooky from a butt by comparison now.

The level of accuracy in both modes is phenomenal. I mean I love Primal and Cheetor, and I'm psyched out of my fuckin' gourd for Dinobot (one more month!!!), but Megatron's on a whole other level, he's practically perfect!
Don't care about the price, it's gonna be hard to swallow and ridiculous because it's ultimately just a fancy toy, but I'd be a stupid dumb idiot to pass up an actual goddamn Masterpiece Beast Wars MEGATRON!

That's actually a good point they could totally include it with Inferno. But I reckon we're more likely to see Waspinator and Terrasaur before him.

Precisely it's just an optional display feature that his parts can be removed as you can easily see how all the pieces integrate in to the transformation, would make no sense for them to be required to be removed. People jumping to super cynical conclusions so silly.

You got me worried there for a sec!
Luckily, it seems like there is a swivel joint in there somewhere. If you look at his Box Art pose picture, you can see his purple bicep facing outwards instead of inwards like in the other pics. :)

Edit: just dug up last month's magazine scans and they also show that his arms can swivel. Crisis averted!

Hopefully some fans fluent in Japanese will have some time over the weekend to take a look at the text and translate it for us.

Fan-freakin'-tastic! Takara really hit out out of the park with this figure! All it really needs now is voice clips from David Kaye.
