I love the gleaming white finish! Super impressed with the paint job on Cordon.

;)  glad I could be a bad influence on your purchase decision making. Lol.

Did you see Skullface's review of the BadCube Lambos? Almost head banging frustrating, but the shoulder/front wheels are definitely super difficult to line up when transforming back to alt mode. It's due to there being a rotating soft ratchet AND you can friction rotate the shoulder even further, so it ends up being out of alignment and you have to figure out how to put it back into the correct rotational position. I also some stress marks already because of not paying attention... grr...

The shrinking chest makes the sculpt look awesome when compared to the Takara Sideswipe. I'm thinking about getting Clampdown, but not sure...

As for the GT Streetwise, he's good! I don't know what Bobby was complaining about him being fiddly. His transformation is pretty straightforward. I do have the same floppy right shoulder that you see in his video though. Otherwise, he's super solid. Things peg into place nicely and he cleans up great. I posted some more photos of him in the MP/3P sticker appreciation thread...

There were also some other videos complaining about the front quarter panel not pegging into the forearms properly. You just have to make sure the fist is pulled/slid all the way out, you'll hear it click into place. Otherwise it hasn't gone out far enough and the peg and slot won't line up.

I originally got GT Streetwise as a standalone as well but just got Katana during the eBay flash sale. I may end up getting the entire series now just so I can have an Autobot combiner and to put 5 additions on the rescue squad. They can have an epic duel with the Constructicons and Devastator!

I've gone with Inferno instead of Artfire, mainly for the chest piece where you can get him to carry Red Alert (which sorta works with the BadCube guy as well) and didn't like the Diaclone stickers on Artfire's legs. I do wish those were optional because I really like Artfire's black and white colours.

Thank God. I was gonna have a heartattack. As long as you say it is possible to secure the chest, I can do it. I have a higher transformation IQ than Bobby Skullface. And if positioning things just right to make them click is the game then it's right up my alley.

Are there any other figures you know of or have come across that scale properly with MP car bots?

Are you asking about within the Hasbro Takara line or perhaps... 3rd Party? Because... oh boy!

    Seems
You can completely cover up his inner calves for more stability. Although even in some product shots, it's not done this way. Some might argue this is the correct way. It can feel like its putting stress on it at first but it can handle it. It's only a little. And transforming back offers no problem.

Just gotta hop over that little edge.

My issues deal with the leg transformation. When I try to put the side windows on his legs, the mirrors get stuck. So I had to detach them and put them aside and now the windows bend and close no problem. I don’t want to snap the little windows off as it got me scared to break them with anymore pressure

You are correct. The mirrors have a tendency to pop up when you manipulate the windows but if you keep pressure on them down so that the c clip stays on then pin, it will allow you to finish transformation. Removing them is ok in my opinion but make sure you don't lose them.

Nah. They are in a small box put away. Wow so the mirror issues are that obvious?

I think it probably is across the board. They pop off as a fail safe so that you dont break it. I believe the Sunstreaker came with a set of replacements.... or maybe I'm mistaken. I didn't see any in this release....... but I could be wrong again.

I was waiting for the sale to buy Cordon. Closer to what I paid for the other carbots was much more palatable to me.

I think around 1:32 scale would be best... a 2-1/4" figure would be approx 6' tall. I haven't found anything posable at that scale though.

If you're referring to the shot on the box where he's kneeling and the inner flap is folded up, the caption reads something to the effect of "The speed trap gun can be folded and stored inside the leg."

I was referring to the lower flap on the calf.

Well, actually I meant human figures (people, soldiers etc) that scale with MP cars. The human figures can be from any company at all.
