For a character that appeared virtually nowhere, that release is sure arousing much interest. Still contemplating on getting Herald for my Diaclone line, but I think ill get that one for sure, for some reason...

 

That police Skids is wicked looking, that's why. The police deco is just sharp as hell on any car. Especially Cordon here. I declare his release has been solidly profitable.

 

Anyone else kind of dissappoined that when Cordon wa released they said he was an autobot? I kind of would like more MP decepticons either official or third party, especially cars  

Yeah, I'm not sure about him too, is he an autobot/con? The Skids redeco on pre-order sure looks like a con

 

I expected him to be a decepticon too but with the importance of this homage toy they might not have wanted to put a purple tampo on him. Simply for aesthetic’s sake. Even the auto bot symbol is incredibly tiny. And he doesn’t have a symbol at all in alt mode. So that’s a first.

Also he technically was a Decepticon on Cybertron. That’s how they explain the red eyes. So there’s that.

 

I believe Tigertrack and G2 Sideswipe didn’t come with any faction symbols on either mode. I actually prefer when the Diaclone homages don’t have a faction symbol for alt mode because I use them as a real car alt mode display. They don’t seem to do that anymore though.

I love Cordon’s alt mode. I had originally skipped Clampdown because I had way too many MP-12/14 molds (Clampdown is my 7th!!) but Clampdown is pretty cheap on a few sites so I bought him as an accessory for Cordon. Seeing all the police and fire Autobots all lined up in alt mode is amazing!

 

Tigertrack and G2 Lambor did come with Autobot badges, but they were stickers that could be applied optionally. I’m not a big fan of stickers, but I liked this option for the earlier releases.

 

Don't forget MP-18S, also an insignia-free MP.

 

Well, you can always get faction logos from Reprolabels and make him whatever you want.

 

Don’t forget the TF Expo Exclusive MP-12 - that one also came without faction symbols.

 

I got this last year but I've just opened it and wow, I gotta say that I like this better than Sunstreaker.

Got this guy on my hands for about a week now. I unboxed him, but didnt transform him. He appears to be flawless paint job wise, if you exclude a minor chip in the gun/missile. Lets see if this continues to the rest of his parts that I am unable to see,I will transform him tonight.

One thing that has me wondering and want to ask: My copy seems to have gelatin on the joints and under the windscreen....Did this happen to anyone else?

 

Can you post a pic of the gelatin in the windscreen?

 

Will do. It will be easier though for the joints. As it is beneath the Windscreen. I assume you didnt had such a thing yourself?

 

I noticed something like that underneath the windscreen on mine. I thought it was maybe a protective layer or clear plastic than can be removed I've yet to transform it to bot mode though.

 

Its not plastic. Its like that gelatin they wrap certain sweets with or akin to that. Assuming we are talking about the same thing.
