I can't really read that bio because, well, it's word salad x Engrish.
H.C. was gonna work on a different translation...?
Seems to be a hit, though.

I STILL wish T-T would put that totally fucking amazing commissioned art to more use than the tiny cards included.

I'm glad someone thinks its still possible. I don't think SG Ironhide will be done, but T-T doesn't use reason in their choices, so who knows?

Pardon my ignorance, but what are "Micro-Chargers!"

haha that was pretty cool for me actually! A friend of mine is taking a second pass at the original text. I took a few liberties with explanations, so his might be more accurate. Hopefully I can credit him this time tomorrow.

An acquaintance of mine that runs soundwavesoblivion.com took a stab at translating Spinout's bio as well. I must say this his work takes far fewer liberties with 'localization', and is much closer to the exact meaning of the Japanese text. In all honesty I think his is much better than mine.

Rescue Assault Spinout, a homage from Diaclone, the precursor of Transformers, joins the MP series! The color palette, dimensions, and specifications are modeled directly after Car Robot NO.1 Countach LP500S type from Diaclone. A completely new Masterpiece branded character transforms from the Lamborghini “Supercar” LP500S to Rescue Assault team member, Spinout! The specific variations of the original Diaclone figure have been faithfully reproduced, while maintaining the excellent articulation and vehicle mode features that were already exhibited by Sunstreaker and Cordon. The concept of the original Car Robot NO.1 Countach LP500S type has been made into a reality with a product that strongly adheres to the modernization of Transformers.

MP-39+ Cybertron Rescue & Assault Spinout

    Function: Assault & Rescue

Motto: “Don’t embellish history with trivial details.”

Profile: Spinout was originally a battle machine (Car Robot) on an Earth in another dimension, which was unprecedentedly given consciousness by a Cybertron ancient computer, becoming a Super Robot Lifeform. Although impulsive and hotheaded, Spinout demonstrates obedience and loyalty to the Earthlings. He clearly remembers his past life as a battle machine and doesn’t feel confident about fighting without a pilot. Spinout’s vehicle form is a Lamborghini Countach LP500S, which illustrates both the mystery and paradox behind his origins.

    “Delta Magnus’ personal log”

In our haste to secure the outer space facility “Diadem”, which stores vast amounts of ancient Cybertron data, events took a turn for the worst. The facility had been decimated in a fierce battle between the Destrons and Quintessons, and a lot of valuable data had been lost. Fortunately, I was able to recover Cordon’s original memory, but he refused to install it. What we also discovered...was not what we expected. Evidence which completely changes the view of Seibertron’s history. One robot, “Spinout”, was discovered in a chamber in the depths of the Diadem, and had been in stasis for nearly 10 million years. In other words, an ancient robot with an earthen vehicle mode existed on this planet! What is going on? According to the Diadem memory banks “Anterior Zeta”, Spin-Out was originally a battle machine from an Earth in another dimension and was castaway on this ancient planet due to a space-time anomaly. Spin-Out was affiliated with the “Diaclone” force. Zeta had analyzed their spacecraft and seemed fascinated with the events of the Diaclone war against their enemy, the Waruder. Was Zeta crazy or was he hacked...anyway, Zeta ensured the Diaclone mission would continue and put into motion a secret protocol. He created a genetic command program that was spread throughout his repair network on the planet. Upon detecting any Waruder presence the program would automatically take over and ensure their destruction was top priority. It’s hard to believe there had been such an intervention with our race, yet we have already seen examples of this programming. There had already been the “Bluestreak Case”, where the Streak who encountered the Waruder army’s Probe Insecter completely changed. We need to take action! If the Waruder are such an evil menace, I would fight them anyway. Nonetheless, the decision and determination should be our own!

@Black Convoy I think you should edit your news post by replacing what I wrote with the following text. Thanks.

oh good the character's backstory is a bunch of needlessly convoluted Wiki-fodder as opposed to just having him be, you know, a cool guy we haven't met before.

not everything has to be that way

Well that’s kinda boring as well. And you could also just read the profile, which sums him up as impulsive and loyal. Chances are people are probably buying him before they even began to know or care about the lore. Even still, it’s not their job to explain your toys. All my policeformers are women and nobody cares that much. Imagination is a powerful instrument.

I am utterly uninterested in posters, haven't had them on the walls since high school. But give me a nice coffee table book...

Awesome art and love the profile given to Spinout, literally every character introduced in the MP line should become a series mainstay they're so fleshed out and interesting. Way better than Windblade or Victorion.

I don't know, I wouldn't say he's been "fleshed out" like say a Tigertracks or a Road Rage as a new, unique character, Spin-Out is just literally the Diaclone Car Robot brought to life as a Transformer all the way down to his apparent personality traits and his desire to still be piloted to just fight the Waruder, which is less interesting so much as just giving old school fans of both a way to have their cake and eat it too.

Convoluted wiki fodder? Spin-Out's profile is following up on previous Masterpiece profiles. And why should a neo-Diaclone figure not put the homage to good use?

Hmmmm... When I kitbash MP39 and MP39+ together, the new red robot with yellow shoulders and toon head will be named "Bob" and his story? well...
"Bob is the Lambo brother no one likes to talk about. He's not very smart and is generally used as a custodial bot in Iacon, cleaning up after the massive battles. Armed with a cleaning spraygun and a small pocket bleach gun, Bob can handle any stain of any size on the shiny streets of Cybertron. Sometimes his blank stare looks like he is daydreaming about being on earth with his brothers, fighting the decepticons. When asked, however, he states he's just thinking the stars are shiny clean."

I'm curious why you would swap the shoulders over? Spinout doesn't even have red on his shoulders in the right place, IMO. Plus I dunno if you can easily swap over the shoulder pointy parts.

I guess we need someone to copy and paste bits and pieces of them to see how it might look. I wonder who has the skills for that... :D
