    IIRC there is an option to have the non chrome spoiler and extra engine in alt mode

    I hope they fixed the chrome issues. Haven't had a problem with Inferno and Grapple (yet).

    There is no non-chrome spoiler. Just the option to have the turbo engine displayed or not, but either way the spoiler's gonna be chrome.

    What Sam wrote. A non-chrome spoiler was originally shown in the first photos which we got, but the design has since been updated and the spoiler is now chromed, to match the animation.

    Damn, that sucks. I hate the toon accuracy when it sacrifices real world accuracy. Second guessing whether I want this guy now.

    I totally respect that you like bashing XX, but I prefer bashing OO myself. That being said, let's enjoy Transformers™     together despite our differences!

    I think they are just for show - I agree with you there - I would have rather the money be spent on completing the alt mode paint job (black vents, car rear, and logo).

    This is the first carbot from TT that got me excited.
    I'm all for the 'more toon, less real life' look.
