I really wish Amazon JP would ship their MPs directly to the US like they used to.

 

I mean they still might. TLK caliber Optimus prime wasn't available from Amazon Japan for preorder to the US but now that he's released you can get him.

 

I hope Reprolabels comes out with a sticker sheet for this guy. I preordered 2; one to keep it as it is, the other to reprovable for a more G1 toy look.

Their prices for the figures and shipping (at least as preorders) are usually great. And you don't pay until it ships. And it never took more than 2.5-3 days to arrive to me on the US east coast at shipping costs that rivaled or beat domestic shipping costs that would often take several days longer just to move across the US. And in the case of Megatron, he didn't have any plugs. I really hope they open MP preorders back up in the near future.

Nice. Well, at least that may be an option with future MPs. But, like jackisking said, you'll have to be mindful of Amazon's ever-fluctuating prices, and inventory for that matter. I feel much safer with a preorder.

 

With them partially opening it back up and making 10-b available, I wonder if they are given the green light with certain figures. I wonder if things opened initially because of MP-36 and the trouble TT knew some countries would have with ordering him. I wonder if another Megatron reissue/repaint is set to be released. Or either Dinobot and Blaster will lean toward the expensive side and they are looking to make them more available. Either way, I think if any of those options are available we might see Sunstreaker/Sideswipe being available. We should some idea of what's going on by the end of the month.

 

I am a Prime member, but most Transformers sold by Amazon qualify for free shipping within Japan regardless.

Mp-38 was $93 all in, for example.

This makes me kind of excited about the reveals coming up. Good chance it will be active for Blaster/Twincast, Dinobot, TB/Hoist? as they are going to be expensive enough but cheaper shipping helps alot. Its nice to ship a carbot express for $11 versus $20.

I had tried it earlier and it didnt work and I think someone cited they had just ordered him so I went and tried again Im just glad they opened them back up. Im guessing we are getting announcements pretty soon.....maybe a toy Megatron??

$84.86 shipped to the US isn't too bad, considering that's roughly what I paid per carbot in the days of ordering them thru BBTS.
