Man this thing is gonna break badly in the coming years and the Golden lipstick is hilarious

 

Alright, we have the full gorilla, now the muscles layer, now we need the skeleton layer so we can make a full cross section diagram to hang in the doctor's office.

FINALLY! After so long of being overshadowed by his cousin Grape Ape, Cherry Ape gets the toy he deserves.

 

Well.... that looks like Burning Convoy alright.

 

I still maintain that the blue head should have been black.

While I don't have any expectations for this to survive a long time, it is pretty interesting looking in its own, horribly garish way. Plus, I just like the MP Primal mold.

Still more sturdy than MP Hound

 

I enjoyed the movie, I’m just having a tough time wrapping my head around the appeal of this thing. With a few more paint apps, maybe?

 

The Love Live backdrop makes it all the more amazing. Chika encourages him to do his best.

 

The blue is a bit darker than usual, but the eyes are red (when in the anime, they\'re blue). Also, as the head is based on the CG model, it is different from the anime model. As such, to me, it looks a little bit \"too big\" (probably due to the wrong head and/or the anime way of using a slightly smaller head to body ratio to denote hight/power, etc).

If Takara had used a different head, this could have been much better.

I mean, it also has a goddamn alien space robot that launches out of its innards too, which I'm pretty sure doesn't show up in any biology textbooks discussing standard gorilla anatomy. Maybe he scanned a gorilla with club foot... hand. Whatever.

 

For all the people saying this'll break. Clear red figures like the original burning Convoy and BW Inferno don't have any issues, so why would this?

GPS is also a thing of the past.

Plus, the gold looks painted anyway.

Aaaaanyway, cool to see they ended up going with the accurate darker blue in the end. Looks heaps better.

 

The head does look darker, which is good.
