A toy comparison shot with a photo I took of my other Burnings this year. Scale is relatively correct, but may be off ever so slightly.

I mean sure we are gaining support within the community.. but I think Beast Wars is still considered pretty obscure to most casual fans. Maybe I should have rephrased it to say "vast majority of casual fans".

 

And this picture highlights why the blue head doesn't work.
If it had been any of the other color, like the original bronze(?), the RM red or the almost black from the movie, it would be so much better.

 

i'm thinking the contrast between the red and pink will be much better in person

 

I *think* I saw a white deco that was either a custom or a prototype or something? That’s where I must’ve gotten the yeti idea from... I’m also fascinated by cryptozoology.

A quick google search didn’t turn up anything, though.

 

Even though Beast Wars II: Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger! was what got me interested in the JG1’s Beast era. Plus it is (Beast) Convoy’s super-mode. But I also know that my collecting goals will be met before Shining Lio Convoy is made. So this is a pass for me.

 

Ya know its funny, i was chatting with a buddy of mine about the possibility of this ever happening, we all agreed on no, too much of a gamble............stupid happy im wrong!!!

 

I feel like I've seen it somewhere before too, but I don't remember and havent been able to locate any images.

 

I really like the colors of this, I really want it.

 

Might have to wait two years before they release the anime accurate version with the paint decal on the forearms. =p

Iron Beast Convoy...this is definitely going to be a hard pass.

 

That's neat too, but no. I'm talking like an Optimus primal that's got an altmode that looks like an albino gorrilla/yeti like animal with a bot mode that has ultra magnus like paint detailing.

 

Magnus already has a BW toy.

 

True, and I'm a fan of that mold too, but that doesn't mean I don't want my favorite monkey commander in a new paint scheme.

 

I'm not really a masterpiece person, but I love JG1 and Japanese Beast Wars. I (and seemingly a lot of other people) really don't like the blue head on this guy, since it's inaccurate and clashes really badly with the rest of the figure. So here's super simply edit that I think makes a world of difference:

 

Can we call this guy Iron Primal ?
