I'm still processing from ny. It wasn't this slow with wheeljack. I can't stand this waiting.

 

You could have gotten him with box, card and spike for that price as well

 

My EMS package does not have any movement since the outbound dispatch from Tokyo on 29th(US)/30(JP). Does EMS usually take this long.

 

EMS usually takes 3 days for me. I don't think it's ever taken any longer.

 

well I will be damned. I just checked tracking and in the last 1 hour the package reached my local PO and is now out for delivery...awesome!

Thank you! Like Liampope, I'm a huge fan of TT's MP boxes. They, along with the instructions and character cards, are part of the MP "experience" for me. It all helps give these figures a higher end collectors' item feel than the mainline toys.

 

Oh, mine has Spike and the card too, just no box or coin. I kinda missed out on a lot of the earlier pre-orders, I wasn't really sure if I was planning on getting him. My usual eBay MP guy has him for about $70 shipped and even then I wasn't sure if I wanted to bite, but I can live without the box for what I paid.

 

Looking at the back of the box again I noticed that they still forgot to completely transform Optimus and left his truck steps folded under his arms. Same with Wheeljack's box pics.

 

How big is the box compared to the other MP cars?

Those are some pretty big gaps you have on one side and on the back of the vehicle mode...

D'oh! Maybe they got Hasbro in to take the photographs? Or maybe they just Photoshop different cars in?  

As ElekTriC says, it's the same size as the other MP car boxes, but when you open it up, you find that Spike in exo-suit takes up more than half of it, and Bumblebee is tucked away in the right third!

Ah, had me worried that you just weren't able to seal them up a little bit better. This makes me want him so bad now.

 

I just can't believe the final product turned out better than the preproduction sample we saw a couple months ago (the one with the blue headlamps and unpainted feet). How often does that happen?
