I'd like to see a G1 reissue as well as Victory Leo getting both of those treatments as well.

    Also, Overlord anyone? YES!

Interesting, but quite happy with the original myself. Still, be nice when they confirm the next MP is Galvatron :D

Might be interested in the reissued Megs if that's had any significant work done to it (decent legs and a smaller cannon, for example), but I would be very surprised if it has a reworked mould.

EDIT - Seems the info is that Megs is indeed just a straight reissue. Ah well.

I keep trying to think of WHO there would be a demand for with a MP toy... Bumblebee? Galvatron? Springer? I'm just not sure WHO they think would be work a MP.

^ You've got to be kidding me. Have you seen the giant thread in the toy forum?

If Rodimus is worth one, so is Galvatron. And IMO Soundwave is still very much a candidate. I think Takara really likes doing these every year or so and they clearly have a market.

I'm gonna be a crybaby and wish I'd have gotten my hands on (at least) the 20th Anniversary Prime. Good God, this thing is gorgeous. And seeing as this thing is a Japan exclusive (see: expensive), might as well skin me and douse me with a salt shaker. :(

Then again, it's just a toy. Boo hoo. It's not gonna kill me. :D

Awesome. Now can they burn the fucking mold so there's no chance it can EVER be released again?

Hope the next MP is GALVATRON!! After Roddy P, he really is the character I need most. I'd love Shockwave, Soundwave, Skyfire...but Galvatron takes the cake with an awesome intricate robot design and an 'insanely' charismatic character. The upside also is that Galvatron could be released in the US so american fans can have a leader for their MP cons.

Somehow, I doubt this will actually be the last time that this mold is used, unless they're actually going to destroy the molds for this figure when the production run is finished.

Only in that case, or if they finally plate the mold in gold chrome for a Lucky Draw, will I believe that this mold will die.

I already have MP-04 that I now don't want anymore (thanks to Faith Leader), so there's no chance I'll get any MP for a while. Still not planning to get Rodimus, and then this and Megatron being next, it'll take a while for some new MP figures.

Uh. You know, I can understand 1 or 2 re-uses of this mold (because it's such a landmark figure & all) but How many times have they re-used this mold now? Sheesh! I can see TakTom being stuck with multiples of all these repaints for years to come...

I already have MP-01, 20th Anniversary Prime and I recently picked up the MP-04 Trailer. I have absolutely no interest in this figure.

WHY are they releasing him AGAIN?! Whatever, just as long as the next MP is a new mold.

I picked up the 20th anniversary DVD edition a few years ago at Wal-Mart for like $20 and I'm beyond happy with him. I do not have any interest in this figure, however I hope the chip in the base sounds better than the one I have in storage that came with my version.
