Swappable faces....Hmmm
That face though, looks like he's doing a "The Mask" impersonation.  

 

Knew this would be coming. Surprisingly soon though. Does look great. It’ll be cool to see the faces from different views. Wonder if he’ll have any effect parts? Although I’m not sure if there’s any notable moments you could reference for them.

 

He has a smoke effect right next to him:

i didn’t notice the smoke effect until after you guys pointed it out. i have the original, but i’m tempted to get this guy just so i can attach the smoke part to his ass.

 

At first I was like " why is he standing next to a rock".

 

Just upgraded my S1 carbots to anime versions. I was gonna skip S2 entirely but fine. Just put in an order for Red Alert+ and will get this one. Love that red.

 

No regrets from me for having the original but happy for those who can now complete a blue-windowed Datsun set.

 

I like how they made the panel under his head blue as well.

 

I'll keep all my original MPs thanks. Takara ain't gonna bait me into this toon shit.

 

Such a shame that they didn't do any of this for Prowl, who is, IMO, the most important character of the Datsun trio.  

 

The face on him looks like when they draw characters in the Batman TAS series style. Which is never a bad thing in my book! Still, pass on this.

 

Where is it gonna plug in actually?

 

Probably no where, it looks like it can just stand upright by itself. Though they could use those indents on the back of his car (side of his robot feet) where the missile launchers can tab in.

Kinda weird how they didn't make his thighs off-white too.

The white stripes at the top and bottom of his doors are a nice touch. Would've expected white headlights too.



Chin shouldn't be quite take up half his face, but it'll look much better when he's smiling or shouting. Wonder if we'll have to wait until Monday for the TTMall page to come online.

Actually that face looks pretty good without the weird shadows on it.

Guess I'll go finally watch The Gambler now!

 

I have been laughing at that face for about two hours now. That is the single best expression I have ever seen on a Transformer.

 

Where do we see that it will have multiple faces?

Looks super so far. Not surprised. But very happy nonetheless.
