Sadly, I think we might have to wait until they can figure out how to KO Masterpiece Soundwave. These KOs seem to want to replicate the Takara stuff 100%.

Ratbat came with SoundBlaster, so a KO Ratbat will only come with KO Soundblaster.

I think only the cassettes that came as a two pack were done (ie: Rumble/Ravage, Frenzy/Buzzsaw). I don't think Laserbeak was, since he was packaged with Soundwave. I'm curious to see how they would go about doing that. Maybe making a Laserbeak/Ratbat two pack in MP style? Or would that be too much work to create everything from scratch?

 

I didn't want to see this! I just ordered an official MP-19 off of Amazon. A few months ago I ordered an MP-14 off of Amazon and received a KO, and I've been paranoid of a repeat, only calmed by the belief that a KO didn't exist. Welp, we'll see!

New package, new instructions & make it seem like an official Takara product? Not likely. The tape & car KO seem to be going for total rip off of Takara. I want a KO Ratbat, but might have to wait for Soundblaster KO.

 

Thats fine. At less than $100 shipped i'll take the whole Soundblaster set.

 

Ebay is really cracking down on the KO MP's. If you ordered one then you should be ok. The seller, who's name I will not mention, has a great reputation so you should receive this item if you already paid, like myself. Here is the message I received from Ebay:

I got the same message. Luckily I also ordered one as soon as I saw this thread.

I already own all the authentic versions, but haven't opened them up yet. I'm just picking up these KO's as a way for me to toss them around a little more carelessly.

 

Friend of mine does the same thing. Keeps the originals in the box and uses the KO's for diplay (complete with reprolabels and custom articulated hands).

 

I think its the wonderful people on this site that report them as well...

 

yes. they get the names from people on these threads. the same way they use sightings threads to scalp. i hate a lot of the scumbags on here.
