So this is the Eness sticker sheet for MP-19. I do believe the dry transfer method is the better option since there's so many stickers BUT I think they missed the boat on this one. It looks like just random company logos and definitely not the same sponsorships from the reference car. But I do like the extra decals that make him more of a nascar. What do you guys think?

I agree with you: this sticker set doesn't add much to his look, in fact, it detracts, if anything. What I miss most is the 'SUN' and 'MOON' (Datsun dealers) names on the airdam. And the brands which are featured on their stickersheet seem pretty random: as far as I can see, none of them were actual Electramotive sponsors.

E-bay, I have a ton of them now 30 or so I think

He is all by himself now but he will have company once Wheeljack gets released.

    Thanks, it's OK I guess.

my SS is flawless save one issue: The infamously tight chest tab will not stay locked when the roof is clipped into the back, my prowl holds fine but the chest clip is not tight enough to keep it from unclipping when the roof is clipped in, a little annoying, better to leave the roof unclipped in.

Even without attempting to attch the roof clips I can un hook the chest clip with barely any force.

maybe a little mould degradation affecting the clips?

had a question on the thigh paint (uploaded pics for reference)

when i went to move the thighs. i look at my hands and have silver paint chips. wondering if the paint chipping is normal. im not trying to be picky or anything as this would be my first ever opened MP. im super late to the party, was ecstatic to get him in earlier today from bbts.

just checking in with you all. any help would be grateful!

That is a design issue. That part should not be painted. As a result of the transformation, the paint chipping is inevitable.

Got a chance to transform Smokey today, the bad:
    1. He can't hold his rifle from either hand. I thought he has the same hand as Prowl?
    2. His head does not push all the way up or get that clicking sound. If I push up, it will push back down. I don't know if need to file down those two black teeth. Since the head doesn't pop all the way up, it affect the chest connection. As of now, the chest plate does not click/lock into his torso/bonnet, it kept on pushing back out just like the head.

I don't think you are supposed to push it past those tabs. I don't on the three Datsuns I own. Some have and report a terrible noise and great difficulty getting it back through on transformation.

Like others have said, you shouldn't push the head past those tabs. If you are having trouble tabbing the chest into his torso, maybe check that the fender parts with the side mirrors is not getting in the way. Once you have those folded in underneath correctly, everything should fit together and the head should sit at a good level.

I can't imagine the toy without them now. It looks just like the real car.

How do you apply Repros so well? Is there a guide? Laser-guided tweezers?

I really like how the stickers look, but one thing that is a bit...offputting...is the thickness. The pic with the 38 on the hood just don't look right. As smooth and precise as these paintjobs are on the Datsun mold, the thickness really stands out.

I think I would buy a set of these if they were waterslide decals.

Yeah, very underrated. Love his cartoon shoulder cannons, head, and re-engineered shoulders. I love the Wheeljack mold, too, it's artistry, engineering, and G1 likeness, but a figure like Smokescreen reeeaaally makes me miss the car mode's beautiful full coat of paint.
